Man, is important to a bunch of activists to say to the UN that they cannot stand the Internet (donate to my Patreon) as is sure the majority of countries are no thinking in how okay would be if the Internet is regulated and less anonymous to the advantage of groups in power...

I think Wu is full aware how hypocritical she sounds as her behavior Pre transition years and his/her immutable status as "White kid with rich parents" can make clear but if I need to guess she doesn't care how people outside her circle snide about it as she always can use the "edgelord defense".
 
....I just realized that other than his occupation, willingness to fellate Brianna Wu, and Hugo Awards, I know fucking nothing about Frank due to focusing so heavily on Bribri. @zedkissed60, want to help a man out here? I need something quick for a summary and something slightly more in-depth for the article itself.


Anyway, as for the UN Thing, one thing I wondered - since the get-go - was how the fuck Zoe and Anita got into this fucking thing.


Today, I got my answers.

Read the member list of who's "officially" involved. Anita and Zoe aren't mentioned, they're just there as celebrity harassees, and the entire thing is about as official an engagement as that thing where Zoe Quinn talked with Katherine Clark to and audience and pretended it was relavent. The entire fucking thing is a giant fundraising event. But the best part is yet to come....

It's not actually a United Nations meeting. It's a meeting of UN Women, a subchapter of it. Don't believe me? Here, from their own fucking website:

The Sims has it's own studio though, for the purpose of churning out said overpriced DLC. IIRC, The Sims Studio was created around the mid 2000s, as a seperate entity from Maxis. And while Maxis was shut down, The Sims Studio remains, milking the franchise out of every last $$$ EA can get their hands on.

Either way, shit like this is why I thank God for Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order. Cities: Skylines is a thing of beauty, particularly with the After Dark expansion.
