I'm guessing that "names do" was supposed to be "means". This whole rant was riddled with typos. It's clear that these tweets were written in quite a rush to keep damage to her reputation at a minimum.

Damn, she is panicking now. She really didn't expect her little show of feigned importance to blow up like this. I think Wu has managed to successfully ostracize herself from just about every group she's ever been a part of just because her ego won't allow her to not be the center of attention.

Unfortunately, I'd say your hyperbolic language here in this title is far more like GamerGate than those expressing criticism of something they see as hurtful.

No one, not Brianna or anyone else, should be held above criticism, and the fact is, many felt hurt by her actions and words today. Even her comments tonight do not seem to really grasp the problem people see.

I was never under the misguided impression that Brianna was perfect, and she certainly didn't choose to be thrust into this position. I believe her stumbling at times is to be expected, and calling her on that is important. I hope that people will be constructive with her and help her understand what has many so concerned.

This is going to massively fracture that cult at the very least. They can't nearly as easily relocate as, say, /gamergate/ did after /gg/ was kill.

This is.... Magical, my friends. This stunt of Wu's drove a massive schism right down the middle of Anti-GG, and they're now in full-bore circular firing squad mode. Several are screaming about how Wu's a traitor, more rational ones are like: "How is this any different from when she went on Pakman's show," and the others are trying to essentially drum Wu from their clubhouse. All it took was Wu being slightly less-than-normal-levels-of-crazy for one night, and the Antis that wanted Wu gone for a while siezed their chance.

Now, we get to watch this train-wreck unfold as her former allies, already eager to expel her from their clubhouse, label Wu halal. Wu, eager to maintain any powerbase she has, will try to make overtures to more sane Pro-GGers, who won't help her, but won't necessarily stop her, either. It will spiral into madness and culminate with Wu having a complete meltdown as we struggle not to make oblique references to Deagle Nation in the background.

But my take on this is that it's part of a plan. He's been bucking to be 'the most harrassed person in gamergate' for a while now. Now not only does he have proGG to claim to be getting threats from, but he can claim Anti-GG is sending them now, too. Thus, Wu becomes the Alpha Victim.

What gets me is that THIS is what makes this pack of dogs turn on her. Not the lying, not the whole ridiculous restraining order business, not her attacking a (apparently) mentally ill person and a dwarf in a wheelchair, but having a fucking cup of coffee with a dude.
