I have the feeling that Wu was trying to make it seem like her characters often engage in ~witty banter~, but it just seems like they fucking hate each other. I see this happen a lot actually; people try to write relationships that consist of teasing/throwing barbs/etc, but if you don't do it exactly right it makes it seem like the characters can't stand one another instead of them having an easy relationship where they feel comfortable enough to playfully insult each other.

So instead of thinking "What a fun relationship they have!" you're left thinking "Why do these people even interact if they hate each other so much?"
I suppose if your serving together you dont get to choose your teammates

But does she believe in the phrase: stupidly expensive to the point of complete inefficiency?
Wait, how much did Rev60 cost to make? $400,000? Oh, shit, I guess she doesn't believe in that either

Secondly, what's to stop gun owners from just buying other types of ammunition? I've spent enough time on /k/ to realise that importing bullets into the USA isn't very hard. So first the designers must design bullets with traceable serial numbers on them, then get every ammunition manufacturer in the United States to agree to use them, then have every gun owner use only one type of ammo for their guns.
I don't know, but I think there are better ideas out there.
It depends what shes talking about. I have no clue what the gunpowder thing is that sounds like a load of crap. I dont know how you would stamp a serial number on a bullet when its covered in gun powder and that gunpowder explodes. But the hammer or the gun that strikes the bullet casing can stamp a serial number on it supposedly. That serial number could be traced to the gun and the owner. This of course can be bypassed by using a revolver or a gun which doesnt eject casings.
As for ammo you can easily make your own so you could easily bypass the "gunpowder" thing. You could also make your own gunpowder.

Do these people not understand that ballistic fingerprinting is a thing? Why waste time, money and resources with serial numbers when guns can already be traced by the marks they leave on bullets as they exit the chamber?

(Sorry if someone already brought this up, I skimmed and didn't see it mentioned, so decided to cut in!)
Also, guns aren't the problem. They've never been the problem. I wonder if SJW types will ever figure that out.

John, on Wednesday, to a fellow tranny who interviewed him:
"Fair warning. I've promoted two pieces by me today, so I'll wait until tomorrow to tweet this out."
https://tweetsave.com/transethics/status/684885097305260032

Naturally, John did not "tweet that out" yesterday, as he promised, but did manage to tweet 66 times despite claiming he's "crunching for ship". John's longest gap between tweets yesterday was about 90 minutes, meaning he basically tweeted all day long, as usual.

"Crunching", indeed.

HI I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT GUNS BUT I AM SURE MY COMMENTARY IS USEFUL KTHX

OH I GREW UP IN MISSISSIPPI AND GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE THERE BUT DONT ASK WHERE I GRADUATED FROM SHITLORD SO I KNOW ALL ABOUT GUNS REALLY

NOW TIME TO GET ANGRY AT SOMEONE MANSPLAINING AT ME

Nice, you've stolen assets as well. I don't even have a sarcastic comment, it's just plain lazy to not make every art asset for your game. You don't see anybody from Nintendo, Sony, or even indie developers who aren't Digital Homicide steal their assets from the internet, and they're successful.
It's not okay when other people swear, but you telling people who you think are from GamerGate to "Fuck off", it's okay?

That is true but that doesnt immediately identify the gun and who owns it in all cases. It will only do that if the gun or the bullet is in a database already. Its not going to do anything to immediately identify who show someone if its a fresh new gun that has no record anywhere. The point of the stamping is to use it to get a suspect more quickly.

This coming from someone who considers "millions die" the correct choice in every game where it's an option.

Now if there were only some way to lure all the surviving Quarians and Geth into Megaton before I blow it up...

Wu's the anti-Spock.

"The lives and needs of the many do not outweigh the lives and needs of the very few I deem worthy."

After all, if you blow up all the people you disagree with to make the world/galaxy a safer place, it is not that bad to kill a lot of innocents in the process, right? It's not like life isn't easily replenishable.

Edit. Spock ninja'd by @zedkissed60!!!

These recent tweets have made it clear to me that Rev60 is just a low-budget Mass Effect fangame where the diverse cast and range of lifeforms is replaced by white women and misc. bad guys. Exactly what gaming needed.

Also, for those of you who refer to Wu as their previous name and use male pronouns, is that a disrespect reserved solely for Wu or is that the way you'd normally refer to transgender people? I'm simply curious.

Just speaking for myself here: John Flynt is such a duplictious, dishonest asshole I have no respect for the guy and will misgender the shit out of him all I want. As long as a transsexual person isn't a total sack of shit, I'll honor their pronouns as long as it isn't Tumblr levels of stupid.

I know we think Wu sucks, and she does, but not everything she does is automatically bad.

She claims to have licensed it, which is probably true because it's a stupid thing to lie about in public.

Legally getting the rights to something is perfectly OK. I know teams that have wasted several days of labor time re-inventing a wheel that could have been bought for $50.

It bugs me to defend Wu, but she's right on this one.

I agree with Sarcastic Username in this case.
Also, using those Patreon dollars to license assets means more time left to sit accusing people on Twitter of being Gamergate.

No, you don't understand, stealing assets is how it's professionally done. I mean, if she had to make things from scratch, she could find herself in a nasty situation like taking months longer than projected to shit out a port of an already-failed iOS game...
