"Terrible shit happens no matter what you choose"This is where Rev60 fails in comparison to Undertale.
In Undertale, there are numerous endings, just like Rev60. But where they differ is how you feel about the characters and decisions you make.
Undertale has many lovable and relatable characters who you grow attatched to quickly.
Rev60's characters are awful mary-sue inserts who are constantly at each others throats.
UT's characters make it harder to do the Genocide run, where you kill everything in sight. It's even harder once you get the True Pacifist ending.
Rev60's characters make you just want to kill them regardless.
The main difference is that in Rev60, there are no moments of positivity or comradery, no relatabilty to be found, thus making the player feel more detached. Leaving little to no feeling every bad ending. There are no good endings to be found, making playing the game feel meaningless. Why bother if you're going to fail, anyway?
Undertale has a trump card, though. The game remembers everything you do. Every choice you make, even if you close the game. If you reset your save file after your pacifist run and decide to murder every living thing, all of the characters remember your past playthrough. It gets even scarier once you have to sell your soul to even play the game again. Where all of the endings are altered.

tl;dr x2 : UNDERTALE HAS GOOD ENDINGS WHILE REV60 DOESN'T.
