Downvotes don't actually matter. Unfortunately, they only count upvotes, supposedly because upvoters are claiming (it's on the button) that they would buy the game if it was on Steam.

The malicious upvoters often state they have no intention of buying the game and are just doing it out of spite.

It's disingenuous, too. Capcom remastered RE1 because there were no successful survival horror games anymore on modern platforms, so best to release arguably the best one to ever come out and lure back the old faithful. Capcom's gradually learning from its mistakes. It has a long way to go, but if it keeps up its trajectory, the future looks that much brighter.

And when I say it's one of the greatest, I mean it. RE1's remake is, perhaps, one of the most scary games I've ever played - definitely in the top three - and even for someone as fucking jaded as me, it still manages to creep me out to this day. Resident Evil elicits a very different horror than a Silent Hill game - whereas Silent Hill trended towards psychological, Resident Evil's is more visceral, more direct. Silent Hill gets in your head and fucks with you on a subconscious level. Resident Evil grinds you down and forces you into its fucked-up world - a sort of "survival management" mindset that makes its horror less lasting, but more overbearing and oppressive.

The only way that Revolution 60's PC release would be anything like the Remastered version would be if Wu essentially re-did everything. Do you know how much effort went into the Remastered? It's a fucking lot. A lot of time and effort went into not only creating the Remastered version, but in adding content and improving code and dynamics.

Honestly I downranked it because the game is shit, the fact that Wu made the game is pretty irrevalant but a still a fun bonus if I get to see him spaz out on Twitter again.

I have gotten into tifs with IRL friends over this, The "With us or against us" Mentality is really annoying
The worst is when you are kinda neutral on whatever issue you are seen as a fencesitter and an disingenuous one at that.

And all this about videogames. Fuck.

The reason Wu is losing his shit is because on Twitter Brianna has someone who is paid to wade through her twitter mentions and block anyone who says anything mean. Brianna has been in a bubble the last few months, safe from the mean Gamers until now.
 
How old is Brianna again? Thirty-something? God, how pathetic. She's acting like someone less than half her age. The constant cries for attention, her inability to accept criticism as anything other than "flaming" or "trolling," blowing things way out of proportion in order to get more attention, encasing herself in a little echo chamber where nobody ever criticizes her... She's utterly shameless. It's blatantly obvious that Brianna's been getting drunk off of the attention GamerGate's been giving her; now that people are ignoring her for the most part, she's getting desperate.

People not hailing her game as a modern masterpiece and the best game about Strong Empowered Wombyn Evar is really getting to her. In her mind, Revolution 60 is one of the greatest games ever and people don't appreciate it because they're just misogynistic, GamerGate dudebros who only play games that involve shooting as many people as possible. Now that she's put it on Steam, where users will blast you on both ends if you have a shitty game, she's being forced to realize that most people don't think her game is Game of the Year material. Most people don't give a rats ass about her book or her attempts to pass anti-GamerGate legislation. Most people don't care about her, period.

If Brianna is really so concerned about her "safety" and her career, then she needs to log the fuck off Twitter and actually work on developing games. Her shtick is getting old and the world has no shortage of professional victims. Sooner rather than later, her followers are going to find someone else to latch onto and her 15 minutes of fame will be over.

Based on the bombshell revelation that Phil Fish essentially stole Fez, then used his connections to silence anyone trying to oppose it, I'm going to suggest that within the next six months, Wu may have a few skellingtons emerge from her own closet regarding Rev60's development, pretty much along the same lines.

You heard it here first. If I'm right, we all get internet pizza. If I'm wrong, we'll have internet donuts or something. We win either way.

She can't log off Twitter. According to her Patreon, her money received from there is received in part to be a Twittering SJW. So much in fact that she hired someone to block anyone who hurts his feels.

I'm well off and spoiled because of my parents. I won't fault people for being born into wealth. The patreon begging is pathetic, but moreso than that I just think she's a scummy bully. If suckers want to give her money that's fine, but she really is a vile, hateful person.
