Possibly. While it's nice she at least hasn't been throwing around the trans card in addition to the feminist bullshit - the latter is bad enough as it is - it might be out of a fear of the psychological paradox reminding her followers that she's genetically a man would undermine everything she's said in pro-SJW terms as well as the now-thoroughly-debunked claim that Giant Spacekat is a completely woman-only workforce. The rumors going around are that the donator is either her parents, Anita, or Zoe trying to funnel money to another "charity" that helps victims, since Wu started one in November with 1k personal donation and a one time 10k "undisclosed" donation from a "third party".

Another thing to bear in mind is the way the whole SJW Patreon scheme works for these people. Person A contributes to Person B who in turn contributes back to person A. A lot of these numbers are inflated by the SJW circle jerk. Look at her Patreon page and see how many people she contributes to herself and you will get an idea of how things work.

I apologize if I implied you were being transphobic. I just see a lot of stuff on this board that comes dangerously close to bashing trans people and got tired of it. As for Wu it's possible she fears her "feminist" card will be revoked if she comes out more strongly in favor of trans issues.
