Here's what I see: there will be a short hubbub, then nothing will happen and the crowd will disperse. Unless KS does do something, but the most likely is that they're going to say that it's the backer's responsibility to deal with it, not theirs. I doubt anyone cares enough to start legal action.
It all depends on the critical mass.
If enough backers finally throw down, Wu's going to have to release now rather than later, and she hasn't treated them very well. Unlike the comparable Feminist Deck and Feminist Frequency KSes, the backers on these aren't true believers and sadly for Wu, shit like Feminist Frequency has already happened before, and she's trying to pull this literally over a year after there was blastback.
Putting it differently; people liked Anita way more than they liked Brianna Wu when Gamergate began; now that Wu's essentially a pariah in her own camp, and shit is hitting the fan, she's not going to have much of a base to draw on to hold the line. Her Patreon is essentially loaded by her pulling the strings, but we all know this really isn't sustainable, no matter how much Wu says it is. If the backers keep pressuring her, we're going to see a chimp-out.
This said, even if the worst happens and it more-or-less blows over (I personally don't think it's going to without consequences, since it's gained another 50 likes in the last two hours on KIA alone and tons more views, to say nothing of the responses), this incident marks the writing on the wall, and the beginning of the end - if she doesn't get it out, she's going to continue to slide from relevance, more and more, as the game of hers becomes an increasingly-distant memory. "I'm a game developer!" she'll continue to state, but this won't hold out forever - her game isn't on the market anywhere and she has no real inclination to release it if it means being put on any platform that allows public feedback, like Steam or GoG. The best case scenario is for her to release it and be done with it, but she knows it won't do well there, and that's why she avoids it so much.
Damned if she does, damned if she doesn't, Wu will ultimately reap what she sows and we'll be right there to harness the salt.
