As someone who has used Unity, I'd pay money to see videos of him fucking that up every step of the way.

Unreal and Unity are somewhat similar on the surface, but porting from one to the other is no minor job. Worse, he's using UE3, which means all the scripting will have to be redone, since Unity does not support UnrealScript, which programming wise is so different from how Unity uses programming code (it uses more standard languages like C# and Javascript), not to mention is so Unreal specific all the scripting would have to be redone from the ground up, and also all the modeling as well, since Unreal and Unity take entirely different approaches in that regard.

In short, if he's fucking up the UDK, he WILL fail epically if he ever tries switching to Unity.
How easy is Unity to use?

Most hipsters/SJWs use Apple products as a status symbol. They simply need to show off how much money they spent.

It's the same with Wu's new PC. Spent a ton of money for an inferior product (mostly because for close to that money it still could have gotten a nice full tower with lots of air flow, an i7 processor that would be good for, you know, developing shit, and more RAM).

Wu Spent almost as much as I did for my new rig, and I have a 6 core i7, 64 GB DDR4 RAM, and 11TB of storage (2 5TB drives and a 1TB SSD). The only thing Wu has is a 1080, and I built mine months before the 1080s came out, but I have a 980Ti. But, mine is also used for more than just OMFGVRISSOAWZOMEGUIZE. Plus, since I know that thermal paste is still used, mine won't catch fire randomly.

Just like buying Macs, Wu spent more money on less power (and this is coming from someone who used Macs for a decade, but got tired of how overly expensive they were compared to equally or more powerful PCs-- and the lack of program support).

Plus, I know which damn power connectors to hook up to my video card.

GODZILLA OF TECH!
Anyone got the link to her build?

Good times, I remember when my first CD-RW (2x SCSI-) had a cartridge like this.... fuck I'm old.
I remember when I first saw a SCSI port and cable. It was fucking huge

So, am I just old, or does Hipchat sound like some hipster chat program for guys who have cocks so small they can wear women's jeans?

So, Flynt is saying that the built in Ethernet on the mobo didn't have any drivers in the Windows install? Dafuq? I've never heard of the integrated Ethernet not working right out of the box on motherboards, and requiring a separate driver install. It's not like mobo manufacturers use proprietary NIC drivers or anything. It's like saying we need to install separate drivers for the built in USB ports.

And, YES, John... the BIOS automagically works on default! If it doesn't then the build won't post upon the first startup.

Apart from:
-Installing the motherboard
-Installing the CPU
-Installing the graphics card
-Setting the BIOS

Good job Wu, real easy wasn't it?

I remember the optical drive the NeXTcube had, which Steve Jobs made while he was in the desert. This was a wonderful machine that had the unfortunate feature that it was vastly overpriced and fit absolutely no market need. The OS was so good that when Jobs came back they basically threw what they were using in the trash and replaced it completely with a rebranded NextSTEP.

John is already losing patrons again:

495 patrons
$1,909 per month

Anyone want to place bets on how long it'll take for it to reach 500 patrons again so his autism will be happy?

Wonder what the real to sock ratio is.

He is lying like always, even in the 0.00001% case that this is true all the mobos i have buyed come with a CD with the respective drivers, also he is still pushing the stupid thing of the BIOS, god john just shut up about it

How easy is Unity to use?

Anyone with a basic knowledge of scripting can easily get started, can even code everything in JavaScript if C# isn't your bag. Being decent at math is a big help, or at minimum having the ability to understand and copy code from people who do know what they're doing. In other words, he'll give up after a day or two with nothing to show for it except a lot of dumb questions on Twitter.

Here is the build he used: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/KtvV3C
