who brags about paying 4x the supermarket price for food on social media

I'd expect this shit from a 9 year old

Beating a dead horse here but a cartoon made in the early 90s still looks way better. And animated better too.
It also had an infinitely better plot.

That does not look right. I think Wu fucked up on the amounts. Or by calling it quiche.
Crust looks weird to me. Much thicker than what I do for my quiches.

And you're absolutely right about the filling, something looks off there too. I don't how she could fuck up the amounts given she's just using what Blue Apron provides. I think what's throwing us off though is that Brianna has no idea how to chop vegetables.

Is it humorous that there's salt everywhere on the stove?
I sure hope that's just salt. :cryblood:

Also, I think Brianna literally just threw the veggies in the pan with no oil. Expert chef, folks.

EDIT: I'm dumb and can't Twitter with the cool kids. Deleted the old tweet.

I don't think it's thicker, I think that the 'pie crust' that BA provides has a lip along the outside edge since it's in an aluminum pie pan.
Or at least that's what I'm hoping, because the entire ratio of crust to everything else, if it is that thick... *shudder*

Yeah... He's got absolutely no idea how to chop things up consistently, especially when it comes to something like QUICHE. Large chunks are not your friend, and that's a surefire way to ruin an otherwise good quiche.

EDIT: It would have made more sense to have that squash(assumedly) as a SIDE dish to go with the quiche, not so much IN it. Because a simple spinach/feta quiche has plenty enough flavor to still be quite savory. Squash... kind of a new one to me for quiche.

Not to turn this into a topic on cooking, but I have made a couple of quiches with zucchini. It's not too weird but you can't have the large chunks of squash like what Wu has going on.

Man, the more I look at her pics the more mistakes I see in food prep. She's as good at cooking with instructions as she is coding.

Aren't the Pillars of Creation a composite image of non-visible light cameras? So you couldn't even see them personally in reality?
The image was taken with the Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 and constructed from three different emission lines which are in the visible band of the spectrum. In how far it corresponds to what a human eye would see in the vicinity of the Pillars is hard to say. You probably would see something, though not in these garish colors, as the low intensity would only trigger the rod cells of your retina, not the cones (the reason everything looks gray at night). Nebulae, when observed through an amateur telescope, appear as a kind of milky haze. Probably the Pillars would look similar when seen with the naked eye from a close distance.

Does her bike run on GN Particles or something?
The RS-37 difference: Eachwheel of the RS-37 isstudded with positive and negative graviton emitters. Positive gravitons projected in front of and under the wheel pull the road surface toward the bike, while negative gravitons emitted behind the contact patch push the motorcycle forward.
p. 85

Frank thinks gravitons are turquoise little dots.

I sometimes wonder whether we should have a thread "Scifi pseudoscience lolcows" or something...
