I want to see socjus types sperging out about women being statted as "lesser" because Sisters of Battle have strength/toughness 3 while Space Marines have 4, but apparently they are at least passingly familiar with the lore reason for that.

Seriously, who fucking cares that space marines can only be men? There is a valid reason in the lore why only men can be Astartes. It was the writer's decision and seeing how they fucking created it they have every right to make that decision.
And what's wrong with the Sororitas? They're awesome. That's why I have one for my avatar. If you hate them so much maybe they should all play as Necrons, the robotic, genderless, mindless abominations dedicating to eradicating all life in the universe. They seem joyless enough for the feminists to relate to.

There is a official explanation, before the Great Crusade, Malcador the sigillite asked the Emperor about creating a couple of female Primarchs to balance the raw MANLYNESS of all the ones he has created, the Emperor just shrugged the idea saying it can't be done, the most realistic theory is that because the emperor is male the gene seed only work for people who has XY chromosomes, people tend to forget that using the gene seed don't alter your genetic code, just your biology that's why Space Marines are tolerated by the Inquisition there are exceptions but those are for some mutations in the seed, if you do a genetical scan of a space marine they are going to be 100% grimdark human

There was an attempt to create female Space Marines by putting gene seeds into the bodies of genetic females.

Much like Wu's attempts at creating a game, it was a spectacular failure.

Here's a little something that I find amusing. HTC (the company that makes the Vive for SteamVR) has announced that they are going to be launching a $100 million accelerator program for startups that want to use their VR technology. They are gambling big on being a loss leader for this new tech and appear to be doing what it takes to make it catch on, specifically for their system as opposed to the more restrictive Oculus.

The funny part is that they announced that the program will launch in 3 cities. Beijing, Taipei, and San Francisco. Too bad Wu is on the wrong coast, or she could be trying to snag up some of that money for her "ground breaking, emotion sensing, VR startup idea"
