Dear God. I will defend FF13 but even I realize its a disappointing game. Also the story is perhaps the worst thing about it. Its a weird story thats compounded by the fact that its told in a weird way. The opening of the story feels like the second act because theres so much that happened right before it that you arent told about until later. I know its technically backstory but it feels like the game should have opened with the backstory.

Gentlemen, ladies, whatever the fuck @autisticdragonkin is: I give you the reason behind Revolution 60 having absolutely shit writing.
 
Wasn't 13 the confused mess from start to finish involving the Pulse, Fal'cie and Spacepope? To the point SquareEnix realised how badly they fucked the series over to the point they've gone back to basics with 15?

I can see why Bri would attach to such a mess.
 
Regarding FF13, wasn't the main complaint that the first 10 hours were basically a single corridor tutorial?

Also for everyone thinking Rev 60 SE will have high requirements, Wu is running a 6 year old mid range graphics card in her main dev Mac, which is itself 7 years old :

We hasn't tweeted about beta testers and SteamDB says the steam version hasn't changed in 6 months, so any testing is probably being done on Wu's personal devices. If Wu's Mac can run it the requirements shouldn't be too high.
 
Wu obviously admires FF13 for being a game about a dude's waifu and dreams that one day he himself will be put in charge of something with production values and show the whole world HIS autistic story and how kawaii Holiday is.

I bet he likes the Resident Evil films for similar reasons.
