Have to disagree with the timeframe as presented.

We have to be willing to admit that once Brianna Wu dies of some natural cause (watch for her Soylent induced stroke to be labelled a GamerGate assassination), Rev 60 will finally be outright dead, as opposed as banished to development hell.

At age 38, this means that Wu has a life expectancy of another 40 years. Wu will continue to peddle her PS1 Graphics game as mental user interfaces and the rise of petabyte level software mean that her 2050s era competition is literally adding people mentally into video games. Wu will, of course, shill for Apple's ITech division over the neuralnet and continue to claim that Gamergate has denied her any chance of living a normal life.

Rev 60 Dies: ~2060.

The other outcome, and I have to think this is a serious possibility:
Trolls decide to create a far superior version of Revolution 60, defending it as a "Parody" because this is not really related to Wu's work, and Revolution 60 dies from simply being eclipsed by someone making a directly competing project.

Making a better game than Rev 60 is not a high bar, and the upshot of stealing Sonichu from a less sympathetic lolcow means taking away her game dev credit for good. There would be some interest simply from that angle and ironically, Brianna Wu hating something might well be an unending commercial--I've wondered when we get to the point where betting against Brianna Wu or advertising against her makes sense.

Revolution: 360 Degrees is published. It becomes "Rev 60"--its just not Brianna Wu's Rev 60.
