It took just 58 minutes from the time John finished that series of tweets for the Vice writer to:
  • notice the series of tweets
  • think about the series of tweets
  • write an article about the series of tweets
  • get a graphic for the article
  • tweet about the article
Then John somehow immediately noticed the Vice tweet and was the second person to retweet it.

This is then followed up by Frank Wu's old friend Cory Doctorow writing a similar piece, tweeting about it, then John retweeting it.

Sounds legit. Totally not a feeble PR stunt orchestrated with Ed Zitron.

After watching this video, I am forced to conclude that after Isaac Asimov gets his head assembled, the Isaac Asimov head turns into Isaac Azathoth and destroys all of science fiction fandom.

It's easier to get John Flynt accounts banned than accounts belonging to actual terrorists. Think about that for a moment.

What if someone starts a hashtag called #Justice4JohnFlynt or something like that, claiming that Brianna Wu, a CIS HETEROSEXUAL WOMAN, keeps opressing an innocent homosexual man called John Flynt by stealing his ideas and censoring him, i would do that but i don't use Twitter

I checked both the Vice and BoingBoing comment sections.

VICE is BRUTAL, maybe one or two ball lickers versus a bunch of people righfully calling Vice and John on their shit.

BoingBoing isn't as brutal, but still point out the criticism of R60 on graphics had some validity.
 
boingboing used to be great, now all they do is scrape reddit for content, shill for junk from their store, and run pieces of garbage like this. Cory has long since given up on things like credibility and is just squeezing every last click he can out of it.

Like someone suggested on Twitter, she should look for Choice of Games. Many of their official writers have a bit of a left-wing bent to it (and their stories do have plenty of "diversity") but most of their hosted writers write some high quality stuff. Hopefully she's also good.

Better than Brianna Wu who never released a interactive fiction game (that isn't shit) and treats her employees like dirt.

Not sure if you were trying to find the name change doc in Mass or the BC in MS. If the former, why not try to procure a copy of his birth certificate if you can't find the name change? BCs have to be amended if you change your name. I believe the home (birth) state is always in charge of that, not where the name change actually happened.

According to this: (http://www.drbecky.com/birthcert.html) Mississippi would have both sets of info. Brianna would not be able to have a new BC issued to erase her identity as John W Flynt.
