Do they do drug testing? I know AJ has the unfair reputation of being a bit of glass cannon with fair weather boxing fans, but stepping in the ring with him when you are a mediocre cruiser weight at best seems like a bit of a cocaine idea.

Hundreds of journeyman boxers catch the same type of beating Jake took every fucking weekend and they get a hot dog and a handshake for their troubles.
There was an interesting interview with "the worst boxer in the UK" this guy is now taking like 2-3 fights a month now that he's older and getting paid to lose, or even win but have the scorecards decided for the other guy. Can't get KO'ed because his savings isn't enough to allow for it. Pretty sure he would do what Jake did for the money Jake made off of this. At least Jake's jaw was apparently confirmed broken in 2 places so that's nice.

Absolute fucking embarrassment for everyone involved. AJ played with his food to be a gentleman and Jake looked horrific. Let's not do this grading on a curve because he was fighting AJ. A cruiserweight looking to make a name for himself will not be this kind. The morale victory bullshit that I'm hearing right now is fucking pathetic and faggotry.

I was frustrated because I knew AJ wasn't trying.
From the 4th when Paul gassed the fight was just AJ waiting for a clean shot where he could TKO Paul without doing serious harm. And at the end of the day, I'm satisfied with what it was. Both of these two bums made generational money, I got to watch Paul get rocked, and AJ can fuck off now back to not winning a belt but being very good.

And I will say this: as much as I cannot stand Paul, he took a shot that would've knocked 99% of the population out cold and then he stood back up. Even if AJ was pulling his punches and the last one was only 70% power, that would've knocked me unconscious. He took a compound fracture in his jaw. That's gonna suck for 4 months. And he stood back up like a G.

I'm not being facetious when I say taking that shot from AJ and even just standing back up will be the most impressive thing you ever seen from Paul. He might be a faggot, but he's a tough kid.

Still get the feeling that he snapped and actually threw legit shots when Paul tried showboating after getting rocked. I'm mostly confused as to why he was picked of all people. Jake's been careful not to take on risky fights, then he jumps into the deep in with an elite fighter that's still in his prime.

My honest opinion on how this came about:

Inoue vs Picasso is happening soon. May be one of Inoue's toughest fights, aside from the first Donaire match.

From watching Picasso vs Kameda, Picasso's guard is active and tight, which will be a problem for Inoue because he won't be able to split or get around the guard that easily. Plus Picasso is very technical with his body shots and uppercuts while also remaining deep in the pocket; he works very well in close range and that will smother a lot of Inoue's offense.

I think it's very 50/50, with either party winning by split decision. Any thoughts on this fight?

Card starts at 1 AM for me. I'm going to wake up first thing in the morning and turn on the replay and just not touch my phone to avoid any spoilers.

Caught the highlights of Inoue-Picasso. Looked closer than the judges scored it, tbh. Inoue's combinations were good like always but Picasso did what I expected, and held on pretty well.

Teofimo vs Shakur is happening next month.

Definitely one of the biggest fights of next year, but I think this is a foregone conclusion. Shakur is just too good on the outside and has near-perfect defense. He also has more power than fans give him credit for, along with sharp combination punching.

Any thoughts on this one? I really enjoy both fighters, especially Teo, but Shakur is taking it.

God damn we almost lost AJ this morning. Two of his trainers who were also close friends were killed. Videos on the net. One of them got decapitated.

Caught the video. In Nigeria you drive on the right-side, and Anthony is seen on his left. He was the one driving. Unlikely that he swapped seats after the fact as he was badly injured.

EDIT: AJ wasn't the one driving, he was behind the driver's seat. My mistake, didn't notice the chair in front. Other angle is posted below.
