Did the sentient missile side quest and it was kinda funny to me although i expected it to go and explode on the town you find it in.
 
for the record i was running the hot slugger before it was cool

since this shit is probably gonna get nerfed and no one wants to be a metaslave, i will suggest obtaining the Borstel Ballista from the final boss, as it does more damage with the right build, especially with Vex. only really good for bossing though, kinda lackluster for mobbing.

I wish there was a scene or explanation of how ava got gunned down, beaten, burnt alive and eaten by a couple mercenaries in the 4th game

Apparently half of Handsome Jack's voice lines were completely ad-libbed by the VA, much to the frustration of some of the writing staff. Including Butt Stallion.
 
I wasn't reading this thread because I didn't want spoilers, but now that I finished the game, I can throw my opinion here, and it's going to be quite short.

Shitty story, shitty characters, terrible villain that doesn't make any sense whatsoever, but fun gameplay. In other words, Borderlands 3.1.

But despite not having terrible jokes and quips every second, I still think the story overall is worse in 4 than in 3. It's really fucking boring, nothing interesting happens, you don't even interact with the villains at all, and they don't even have a personality. I honestly already forgot who the first one is. I think he was fat, but that's about it.
 
So you didn't like budget Morrigan, budget Harkonnen/Asmodan, budget joker, budget mad scientist and budget marvel villain?

Its not worse than BL3's story and the characters are just that slightly bit better than 3 (ava and whatever tf that black bitchs name was playing a huge role), but its your opinion so that's ok.
 
After the nuclear bomb level cringe that was The Calypso Twins I can understand why they wouldn't want the villain to constantly call and taunt you over the echo net communicator but that shit was in ever other Borderlands game so it feels weird that he doesn't do that and is such a non entity for the majority of the game.

I don't like it.

Been playing Borderlands 3 again on TVHM. GOD DAMN, I FUCKING HATE WAITING FOR DIALOG TO FINISH! I JUST WANNA MOVE TO THE NEXT OBJECTIVE! ESPECIALLY WHEN CHARACTERS REFUSE TO SHUT UP WHEN IM BUSY KILLING THINGS!

Im playing on mayhem 2 and the mobs are not too spongy but still spongy. Turned off voices and just put something on the background instead. MUCH better!

"Edit" And having to redo all the side quests (that has even more dialog) makes me cold sweat just thinking about it. "but you can skip the sidequest." and gimp myself becoming underleveled? i know how this series works.

a general complaint it carried over to 4, i think randy is too old or some moviegames faggot is in the direction team.

Go to "Drive game is installed on"/Steam library/steamapps/common/Borderlands 3/OakGame/Content/Paks you can go through steam, select the game and select the browse local files option, delete the files named pakchunk3-WindowsNoEditor, these contain the dialog and when you delete them the game will skip through dialog
