You'd think that BABD would be all for the Tumblrpocalypse, right? Well, yes and no. While they do have fair points about CP and shock images, they simultaneously shoehorn their prudish agendas:
In other news, they're so focused on bitching about "shapeshifting" armor that they ignore the male armor also having back, arm, and leg exposure.
On a side note, I wonder if "female presenting nipples" will include Ozzie's redesigns of ugly boobs?Instead what they’re proposing to do is to essentially trust their algorithms to police their community in a manner which won’t address any of the above but, based off what we’ve seen from the flagging on this and other blogs:
- Punish people with real adult content they own who have been responsibly tagging and flagging to ensure it isn’t seen by anyone who doesn’t want to see it.
- Punish people who post safe-for-work artwork of lesbians being adorable
- Punish people who do fan art of scantily clad female characters (the professional artworks are often featuring anatomy that is too far warped to be recognized as images of people)
- Punish cosplayers who dress up as characters from many of the companies that Tumblr is no doubt hoping to attract advertising revenue from (again, the professional images seem less recognizeable)
- Punish people who post anything a machine things looks like a “female presenting nipple” (your guess is as good as anyone’s)
- Do absolutely nothing to fix the problem of Tumblr being removed from the Apple app store for being so negligent that significant amounts of child pornography were found.
