It is really weird to try to shield a whiny little bitch like Ben. Not really sure what differentiates him from someone like Wil Wheaton who is also three feet tall and incapable of making girls wet.

I've heard some anecdotal evidence that some ultra religious types occasionally don't know enough about sex to know women have to get wet because no ones bothered explaining it to them. It's surprising Ben doesnt know assuming he's banging his wife and she enjoys it. More likely it's because he's a dumb pety idiot and acidently said something which makes him look like a sped but because he's such a sperg he won't just laugh it off.
His distaste about a lewd song is frankly absurd considering the asinine crap male rappers sing about and well....everything else about our society over the last 4000 years or so. This isnt the first time he's done this either, he got visably upset over john lennons imagine on the grounds it's kinda pro marxist.

The issue I think isnt that Ben can't grasp it, it's that he won't. Since he'd have to re-assess some of his world views if he were to acknowlague economic damage due to ecological damage. Ultimatly you can see Ben isnt quite the coldly logical machine he presents himself to be, which is unsurprising considering he's visably annoyed a lot of the time.

He completely twisted everything about that song to make it seem worse than it is. "Living for today, well that means you don't care about tomorrow!" He also tries to claim the song is just a bad song besides the lyrical content, which is kind of retarded because it's a good song, I get that music is different depending on who you ask but I think he's lying. Granted, I really don't care for the songs lyrics because it's just "real communism hasn't been tried" the song version but I do think the song has merits.

I can't shit on MacArthur Park when it resulted in such a charmingly corny Weird Al parody.
Also any song has to hold some value if it was covered by a truly excellent performer like Donna Summer. At the end of the day Imagine is just a song that holds a grand secular socialist/communist sentimentality that just doesn't make sense when you put any weight on it. Even Lennon himself contradicts it:

Covers of a song are different. There's covers that are better received than the original and then there are covers that honestly should never have been done. Weird Al has a special place in music because he actually has massive amounts of talent and it shows when he can take a song and make it his own.

But the Jimmy Webb version flat out sucks.
