Why nerf him? I used him during that 10 hour trial, and his turret wasn't getting many kills for me, so why make him even worse?

No idea. Before he was strong for having a reasonably strong turret that could detect and show the enemy with a red highlight like Paik does. Removing that was fine, but making the turret fire slower, be slower to startup AND being so weak a clip can kill it just makes the turret so useless. Good luck getting Tier 1 on him anymore.

The FXM-33 is useless. Takes ages to lock on something and by the time you pick up another one, the helicopter already has its flares ready.

That's "games as a service" for you. They ship a game with 1/10th of the content whilst making sure that it doesn't crash to desktop and then they spend the next 2 years pretending to do something before the publisher tells them to stop and work on the next game.

Good lord, that skin is downright plagiarism. For the love of god DICE, stop trying to ape Call of Duty so damn much.

And bullshit on EA's claim on the game being important, the meager offerings after 8 months of waiting say otherwise.

Ackshually there was no reverse knifing in 3, unless you're not talking about the gameplay mechanic. That was a feature introduced in 4.

While I appreciate the weekly missions being easy as piss and not a full-time job, I don't think it was very smart making a premium battle pass after all the negative reception the game has received. First season being free would have smoothed over some of the flak for a content drought, and all the attention they put into designing the store page for content bundles just makes the impression that it was always supposed to capitalise off Fortnite-like content seem more likely.

there's also no point to take the L when you can put some intern on maintenance duty to milk the few retards left in the game. next game they'll all be back anyway peordering the $110 super deluxe edition with a few extra pixels.

Hopped on 4 tonight just to be a homie. Found one squad where the guy was using the Little Bird all game, just sat there and repaired him. Would also RPG guys that he pulled up on. He would always say thanks and even apologized when he dropped street level and got us RPG'd. What a dude.

Some 3 man squad with 2 Engies with Javelins and 1 Recon laser marking vehicles. IDK what they were doing at first so I just stood in front of one guy and later t-bagged. I realize what they're doing, join in with my own, get some kills, then the guy stares me down while his friend t-bags.

These two experiences are why 4 will reign supreme out of 4, 1, V, and 2042 for me. Just the dumbest and simplest of fun with everyone there being homies. Except those guys sitting in corners on LAV-25s gunning you cross map.

to be fair that's not dependent on the game, back in the day that was quite common, just stick to the server with people you vibe most with.
but even in modern battlefields it could happen, holding a house on seine crossing in bf3, or going full german on d-day in bf1 operations.

Bought 2042 since I had 23$ MS credit and the game was 35$, after discounts, because Xbox has no games and I'm severely bored. The new map is actually good and the other maps are just god awful in comparison. The new gun, the BSV-M is dumb at all ranges. It's a DMR with full auto and single fire. It's nice that you get the new specialist and the weapon just by leveling the free battle pass. I think this game is decent but I'm frustrated by how bad parachuting is, especially after playing 4. I don't care to describe other than that's it frankly dumb.

Edit: the Tactical Beacon is acting like a CoD Tactical Insertion in that if you spawn on it, it disappears and you have to replace it but if your teammates spawn on it, it says up. Like huh???
 
Played D1 on Exposure 124. Found this one dude who had the drop on me but I end up flicking on him instead. I proceed to rat on the objective while not capturing it so I can just have some fun. The same guy respawns at the same objective 10 more times, while using the prox sensor so he could try and find me and I kill him every single time making me 11-0. I would move all over the objective site so he couldn't find me. Then another guy gets caught in the crossfire, looking for me after I killed him on the opposite side of the objective and then kill him 5 times in a row. I rack up 17 kills just messing around with these guys like a filthy rat, having a suppressor on my not-SCAR.

That's what Battlefield is to me, dumb little objectives you set for yourself. Poor guys never thought to swap to the Specialist with wall hacks
