Jesus, playing Breaktrough on the new map can be hell for the attacking side. I've played a game where we couldn't capture the first point because the defense could one-shot snipe people spawing at the home base. I don't know if they were all using wall-hacks or if the matchmaking was so bad that it put MLG tryhards on the same side.

Hasn't spawn killing been a Battlefield staple for years?

So, the 1887 in Hardline was inspired from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

A cowboy gun turned action staple. Interesting. Decent range, great damage, slow reload. Get 275 kills with it. Okay then.

most maps were designed in a way where it wasn't really possible. plus people who tend to get gibbed a second after spawning are not staying for very long, it's a good way for emptying out a server when certain maps come up. still plenty of other ways to cheese tho.

OK, why does BF2042 reset all my settings as if I was launching the game for the first time?

DICE's devs are still in full-on :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: -mode, saying that they're only focused on BF2042, and that "In three years, we want to be the first-person shooter powerhouse that DICE deserves to be".
Three years, bah. ONE year is too generous. They had a chance with their launch and blew it spectacularly.

DICE is getting what they "deserve" from 2042. Fans know what they want from Battlefield, yet they won't listen.

DICE is finally realizing that making the transport vehicle the most OP thing in the game is a bad idea, and plans to make balance changes to it:

Instead of nerfing the Condor, why not boost the damage of the rocket launchers so it actually feels like you're destroying a vehicle?
From what I've seen, it's faster to repair a vehicle than to fire a rocket and reload it despite doing next to no damage.
