As the game sweetly drifts off to maintenance mode, I have to wonder - why the fuck have they kept the initiative roll at 1d4 all this time? I've started playing through again idly on the side with a mod to change it to 1d20, and it's incredible how this one tweak gives all of your characters a free feat and knocks dexterity down from "hands-down best characteristic in the game."

It's kindof a shame that WOTC will inevitably fuck up the inevitable BG4, because there's so many good ideas baked into this game. I really would love to see these systems adapted to a story that didn't suck and wasn't needlessly long for the sake of being long. And which didn't disguise godawful smut as """romance."""

Hard to say, heavily depends on your overall sensibilities.

While I did enjoy it overall there are two major things you need to be aware of.

The first is that only around a third of the story is genuinely good, after the Act 2 high points it never quite reaches those heights again.

The second thing is Act 3 is unfinished, it's not completely missing like MGSV but huge chunks of it were cut and you will feel unsatisfied and disappointed by the conclusion.

like by the looks of it i am just concerned with a few things

1.Leftist faggotry
2.Boring plotlines with insufferable characters
3.And red herrings that bait us with something bigger only leave to us with a nothing burger, like in dying light the beast they was a hole plot line about zombies are now turning into some hivemind similar to tyrranids only for it to never explore it further leaving me blueballed....also the blue eyed experimented humans who have the ability to control them.

that's another 20 or so years and even then there's nothing stopping WOTC to become gayer with the IP.

I fucked my honour run at Orin, because I got too cocky and didn't prepare.
Oh well, lesson learned.
Even if I did win the fight, losing the duel made me feel like a BITCH.
Campaign deleted and started a new one, Durge again, still resist, but this time I'm going full Draconic Sorcerer and my plan is to nuke that bitch with 4 Scorching Rays in the first round.
