No DLC, they've completely cut ties with WOC and are working on their next game which is likely Divinity 3.

Plus if you believe the gaming rumor mill there was extremely bad blood between Larian and WOC during development so they are very unlikely to ever work on thr D&D IP in the future.

Gamers were ousted from game development for being problematic and were replaced by College graduating Karens that are sure that the only way to increase profit margins is to get women to play video games, and that can only be done if they kick off the original male buyers that are too toxic.

Having to deal with faggot gnomes, lesbian clerics, cringe and lesbian aasimars and some other rainbow puke, is the main reason why I dislike playing as good/heroic.
Once I finish my resist Durge run, I'll do an embrace run and see if not having to deal with those faggots is worth the loss in content and vendors.

Except for the companion dialogue, that shit is hilarious.

i got slayer form because shart threw a tantrum with the winged lesbian and a earth elemental killed the winged lesbian's lover even though i just wanted her K.O'd... didn't know it was so shit but i was reserving to use it for killing Orin, minthara fucking gushes at her when you ask about it.

elaborate, i buried a good chunk of my potential companions in my current run, only gale, laezelle and minthara are still alive, for now anyway.

also gale's allahu akbar skill is really gay, i made him commit sudoku on both phases of the general thorm and all i got was a reload screen even though the dialogue hints you should be getting a ending clip.

the killing option texts only show up for the durge without mods? i was thinking on running a regular save but killing off gale from the get go without the need to go through all the baalite shite and not having orin call me a "brother".

I finished the game as a custom character on release and yes, all the unhinged dialogue is Durge specific, like hacking the arm or punting the squirrel.

Honestly, embrace Durge is fun with all the insane dialogue. Even on a good run, I'm always tempted to tell the lesbo cleric "EAT YOU! BASH YOU! KILL! KILL!"

there's the shitty dice rolls... at least you can roll a 20 and pass a 30/99 check though.

also on the fucking thing i noticed on other rpg's too is that you can't flirt with other people, only specific selected NPC's, even having a hook up is tied to specific npc's, shieet, it's making me enjoy having played DA2 more because i can be a fucking sarcastic arsehole in 98% of the conversations in that game which is a break from the regular mold of be agressive/be a goody two shoes dialogues, also fuck the whores in the whorehouse too...

You can easily play the game without activating any romance triggers. My first playthrough was entirely devoid of any romantic/sexual content until Act 3 where a certain quest rewards you with a free ride with a prostitute. Even then, I chose to just to hang out and talk with her (because there was unique dialogue tied to my character's race that I found to be very heartwarming).

BG3 reminds me very much of playing DnD with friends, but on your own. They nailed that as well as they could for a video game. People like DnD for different reasons. Some people like the stats aspect, creating wild builds for maximum output. Some like the creative aspect, bringing characters to life and becoming part of a story. Some just like fucking around and seeing how far you can stretch the rules. Some people like a little of everything. All of these aspects are present in the game. If that tickles your fancy, go for it. If you are already into DnD, BG3 really caters to lore gluttons. If you know your stuff you will be rewarded heavily. But don't worry, if you aren't a Forgotten Realms lore guy it doesn't hinder the experience. The focus is on the story being actively told.

And as for people complaining about certain companions, there are ten of them. If you don't like one, there are nine others that you may like. (Even I don't care for Halsin). If you like none of them, play with friends or hirelings (who have no dialogue of their own). But I'd highly recommend companions. Gale and Lae'zel really enhance the main plot in particular.

As other people have said, you can go full murder hobo as the Dark Urge if you really want that sort of gameplay, but even then, Dark Urge has many paths they can go down as a character both good and evil. It's all about choices, and how they make a character. You may surprise yourself seeing where you end up.

I really hate how negative this thread has become. BG3 has kept my attention since release, not because it is perfect, but because it is fun. Every playthrough I discover something new. It's hard to focus on the sparse scattering of disappointments when the whole of the experience is so enjoyable.

dun and dunit, the ending mentions of possible DLC worlds hits differently now because of the gay fight between larian and WotC.

funny that i gave bhaal the middle finger and still got the drow pussy permanently, she didn't leave and i couldn't ascend gale because of some retarded dialogue needs, same thing for that fucking emperor/oprheus thing, the worst part is that the game's dialogue in the mother brain fight literally tells you to consume the tadpole and become a illithid within the 4 turns to do a dominate but if you go through the convoluted roundabout dialogue to not turn anyone into a illithid when freeing orpheus the game treats as if you had turned into one, shit's fucking gay i say, also i killed laezelle for some reason?
everything is so fucking gay with larian.
