Supposedly in 2023, but they've been dragging the final arc out for so long that I wouldn't be surprised if actually took until 2024-2025 at this point.

We should, but I can't make a new one. A mod has too.

I just want one of the options to be the fanbase reacting like the Sherlock/Supernatural ones did and say it wasn't the real ending and/or their ship suddenly became canon in one of the foreign dubs.

I mean, if you just HAVE to be an Erehisu sped, you can pretend that Grisha= Eren, and he's a two chick chad. Thus Hisu is the Dina he isn't going to sacrifice like Daddy did, and Mika is Carla or some shit.

I still love this show/series/manga. But I am SO excited for the fireworks and sweet sweet slapfights and salty tears.

Everyone treating this like a religious crusade, trying to convert everyone around them to their particular side. Such beautiful autism.

I can see the sense in trying to convince people that something like Star Wars has gone of the rails into terrible town, and The Last Jedi was shit, because it's an IP that will continue and you're trying to make enough of a fuss that they don't keep fucking it up. But this is a single story told by a single person and it's over.

But the Shipping Wars will never end.

Also, I’d add that Star Wars is pretty much at a point where everything that could be done pretty much has been done so I can’t get too angry since the main thing is almost like fanfiction at this point in terms of new material. AOT meanwhile doesn’t really have that luxury imo and I don’t think it’ll ever get it.

This entire series should’ve just ended when they reached the Ocean. Would it’ve left a plot line or two floating unresolved, sure, but goddamnit it was a good place to end the series.

That or have the ending being them seeing a Plane or Ship or something equally autistic in the distance, use it for sequel bait…

Honestly, that's what I've been saying for months now. As for planes and ships, that'd be a great visual.
 
Still think they could have salvaged the anime ending by having Eren be killed by Ymir after she freed the Titans and have her possess his traitor brother and make him lead the charge to wipe out humanity. Sort of fixes a lot of problems: Eren gets what he wants (genocide) but is killed so he doesn't actually get to see what happens after the order is given and self-hating "sterilize my own people because I'm a cowardly shit" Zeke is forced to basically MURDER the people who's boots he spent his lifetime licking as far as carrying out genocide and being put down by the good guys.
