How will Eren be stopped?

They have written around that already. The Rumbling started on Paradis and it seemed relatively unaffected in the long run judging by the post 139 panels. We see that in the end that everyone on Paradis survives the Rumbling. They only die in the long run because Eren leaves too many nations alive that come and attack them. Nature is there, trees, forests, animals, water. There are enough people living there to build entire cities. And then they are carpet bombed.

Paradis was ground zero for the Rumbling and survived enough to have skyscrapers a few decades later.
I meant realistically it would btfo the island and the entire world because of all the smoke and ash blocking out the sun and causing another ice age, among other things.

Yes, the island is intact because the Rumbling doesn't hit it, but it would still feel effects because of all the adverse weather that would be created.

If we're treating the Rumbling as being the only option because of muh realism, and "it being the only way" then we should address the realistic effects it would have on the world.

Holy shit, this is not hard to understand.

Not to mention the entire ending was an attempt to whitewash Eren and treat him like he was a good guy since Isayama didn't really commit to making Eren an unrepentant villain with his bootleg lelouch plan. Exploring the realistic effects of the rumbling would be counterproductive in the effort to make Eren the good guy who was wanting to help his friends (even though he basically is forcing them to spend the rest of their lives cleaning his mess and got many of them killed)

For all the Naruto/AOT comparisons…

Naruto at least got pussy. On the regular even.
Two kids, and to the fans a massive harem. There’s so much Tsunade R34.
Naruto also got what he wanted: Konoha's love and respect from his peers
Eren didn't get either of that.
And then the war happened. Seriously, Naruto and AOT could have both been a lot shorter.

As I've said elsewhere in the thread, the rumbling isn't the only option, but it is one of the main actually valid ones.

Hiruzu's partial rumbling diplomatic expansion plan was also perfectly viable, but it would require another 50 chapters to actually develop, which I don't mind but Isayama probably did seeing as he introduced hizuru only to drop the whole plotline and do nothing with it.

The issue here isn't giving eldia/paradis a good ending, its giving a conclusive and consistent one.

I agree

Oh, Luffy was revelead to be a Sun Deity right? So he's doing a better job than Eren in God powers....and since "One Piece" is ending...basically "The Big 3" Shonen protags > Eren
Even with fanon harem endings

Luffy's Nika reveal works because he didn't change into your usual "edgy new power" like most battle manga are (especially in WSJ). No, he just turned into Bugs Bunny

I'm not well-versed in "One Piece" lore, but I believe it and makes sense.
Shit, Oda's stuff makes more sense than what PATHS is...no wonder "Attack on Titan" got rejected (besides not enough comic relief characters)

Also, from my knowledge, when it comes to all this world shattering shit, Luffy’s either not around to grasp it, or he’s so thickheaded and stupid that he doesn’t realize the weight of what he’s been told.

Really? I just remember WSJ rejecting AOT because “it doesn’t fit the style of the magazine” and Isayama wasn’t willing to change things.

Ah the classic Shonen trait of being a dumbass....no wonder I liked the smarter protagonists, but it's Shonen so dumb = relatable

I was spit balling again/joking. Sorry ^ ^;

From what I’ve seen of One Piece, I think Luffy is a special breed of stupid and/or ignorant. The rest is more “not catching onto signs that someone really likes you”, or not really putting much thought into strategy and just brute forcing and relying on raw power to win. Which Eren does a lot of.

Not only that, he also achieved world peace, and prosperity.

What the fuck did Eren do besides global destruction, and pissing his pants?
Hey he also did nice things like turning his home into even more of a political mess, making his friends that he wanted to protect clean up after him, and be responsible for some of their deaths

I thought of this too: none of the Shonen Jump protagonist killed their mother, not even Light Yagami.
Also: Again, with One Piece ending I feel like canonically The Big Three protags have good endings.
Eren is a terrible protagonist for that alone; I'm going to rewatch the first episode for Carla's death.

This is not true.

She died when Kurama's claw impaled her. She died trying to protect her son who was a fucking infant and that is not Naruto's fault. To suggest such is fucking retarded.
It’s been a while since I read/watched Naruto, okay? I just remember him growing up an orphan.

Either way, I guess Kushan’s had a more hardcore death compared to Carla.
