Morality is all perspective. I'm sure the Nazis (who people here would agree with but let's move on...) didn't think they were evil. They thought they were battling the blue meanies for the glory of the aryan race.

You guys are lost in a world of internet memes and nihilism. There's no purpose or meaning to anything so might as well get drunk and watch Metokur dunk on some autists. Might as well browse 8chan and pray for the next mass shooting or the next lolcow to eat his shit on livestream. Anything to keep me occupied from the crushing nothingness of existence. So in that way kiwifarms is good to keep our downfall of a society in place.

I'm actually unsure if my post was positive or not. 🤷

Good and Bad are perspective. Ask any of the folks involved in the Zoosadist scandal and they probably would say all kiwifamers needs to be lined up against a wall and shot for the betterment of society. You would get the same opinion from SJW's who don't bat a eye at destroying lives over a tictok black joke.

Most of you here are not picking victims at random and turning their lives upside down, encouraging violence for petty things, or encouraging great acts of degeneracy or cruelty. Any cow with a thread here should take the above into consideration, the fact they don't is really the only reason this site thrives the way it does.

As a final note, the entire corona virus mega threads are pretty much the only reliable ways of sifting through current events and have uncensored discussion on the topic. This site's early warning let me and those willing to listen to the warnings prepare early. If providing life saving information to the world in the midst of this crisis is not a act of Good then I don't know what is.

A definition of morality, shared with me at a young age, which I've always aspired to.

Morality is how you act when you think no one else is looking.

Taken in a very narrow perspective, everyone here is saying things that they probably would not say in polite company. Let's take that for a given, then let's think about the broader perspective.

We live in a world where the media is a mouthpiece for the CCP, lunatics broadcast their sperging to the world 24x7, and public displays of immorality have become the norm.

The Greeks had some really badass plays they called comedies, involving a lot of murder, cuckery, witchcraft, etc. They justified the actions in the play as catharsis, the actors were eliciting laughs over actions people would never take in real life. It was considered a necessary part of civics, sort of a heat sink for the frustrations of society.

I would argue there is nothing inconsistent about posting on the Farms and being a devout Christian. It's absolutely necessary to talk about the society you live in, express frustrations, etc, in order to be a good person. What we do here says more about the morality of the world.

Is that even true any more though? Now, morality is what you do when the world itself is evil. And you can only get away with expressing actual morality when the evil government isn't going to punish you for it.
Kind of what I was trying to say. There's no one here who's too far over the line either way, especially compared to everything else that's going on in the world.

I say strive to be what you want to be, if it's a more rounded person and a genuinely nicer person, go for it. But if it's to just be a total dickhead who isn't nice, you're allowed to do that too.

Living your life based on others' morality isn't going to be a good one.

I may talk smack about lolcows, but actual cyber bullying and trolling is where I draw the line. As the years pass, I am following less and less cows. I come to kiwifarms as social interaction outside of Facebook mostly.

If these lolcows want people to stop with the mockery, then they need to leave the internet like JustinRPG or take a very low profile.

Are we the baddies? Nah.
Some guys a-log too much but they are rightfully made fun of. We try to not interact with cows outside of our lil goblin nest. And sometimes we expose nasty shit like Translifeline.

I don't think it's bad to enjoy a nice cup of schadenfreude now and then.

But just being an asshole randomly to someone for no reason, I don't do that because it feels bad man.

I'm here for the cathartic stuff. Here I can be a little mean and letting some steam come out without hurting someone (only the ego of weird people on internet)
I think a good part at least of people here in KF are nice in real life, or/and try to be.
But sometimes you just want to be mocking and snarky. And better here than IRL.

In short : nor good or bad, just human bro.

Kiwifarms is just an extension of a larger cultural idea. This "Lolcow culture" can be both good and bad.

The Learning Channel (TLC) holds up horrible crazy people. Horrible crazy people do horrible and crazy things to get this attention. Does it make society dumber? Does it create examples that disturb children and set them straight? Impossible to know but the answer is likely both. The only thing we can say for sure is that the freedom of this kind of culture is great to experience.

You can't really eradicate the idea of laughing at retarded/anti-social things. Every culture and ideology partakes. Redditers love to hold up "Karens" and mock their ridiculous behavior. Soviet comedy was based around caricatures of the west. The Nazis had a "degenerate art exhibition". People can moralize all day but they all do it.

is doxxxxxing to far? Pretty much every lolcow on this site aspires to have some attention and they get it for better or worse. Whoever said that anybody had a right to keep their homes location private? If you're really butthurt about then you should buy a trailer-home. They're cheaper and you can move them. Nobody has that right. What should we do? Legitimately task the government with erasing any mention of Barbara Streisands home address? Moralize about the doxxxxxx all you want but you have likely celebrated it happening to somebody you deemed bad.

is doxxxxxing to far? Pretty much every lolcow on this site aspires to have some attention and they get it for better or worse.

Sometimes. Depends on why and what result the doxer wanted. The vast majority of the people who bitch the most about being "doxed" quite literally doxed themselves. Fuck those people. And the people it took actual work to dox, like Metokur, are just as likely to be people who are popular on the site as people the site hates, like utter garbage like Kaylyn Saucedo.

-is what we do wrong?

We're all entitled to judge and have discussions about people, groups, etc, so if that's the bulk of this website then, no, not really.

I think my biggest complaint is doxxing, I have no problem with it in regards of people who are genuinely malicious and will seek to harm people,
but if we're talking about people who don't and can't pose a threat to anyone - whether that is because they are too fucking disabled or morally/ethically competent enough that we know they probably won't actually harm anyone then I think it's for the best their private information is left with themselves rather than exposed. Of course, it's a different story if they self-doxx on public domain, though. But even if they exposed themselves what would we gain from it? We're not really doing a service or saving anyone by showing where some harmless loser lives, you know?

But yeah, there's plenty of websites where they function similarily to kiwi,, but it isn't as known and they don't get shunned for shit-talking insert slightly relevant person here. There are objectively worse communities too that go beyond just what this website does.

-if so is this an act of evil or meerly a vice?
I said I don't think what this website does is really evil , it's just more minorly harassing at worst so yeah I guess the latter

-if you're a theist what do you think god makes of you shitting on the weak?

I try to avoid having much input on people who are genuinely in massive dispositions such as the majority of people who are in Special Books by Special Kids ,
I can't even watch this channel much because it genuinely depresses me and the thumbnails alone scare me away. This is what I'd consider being the "weak" demographic - very deformed, disabled, etc. There are some exceptions like a high functioning autistic person or a mute/deaf person here and there but really the bulk of these people are just not going to be seen as passably 'normal' at first glance.
I have no idea what is the lore behind this channel except that I've heard some questionable things about it (mainly about lucrative shit) but that's a different discussion.
Unless you're somehow used to encountering people like this maybe if you work within a field that consists of helping people like this, your primitive mental triggers will fucking be "This person is abnormal, this is bad/sad" and avoid them instead of insulting them for just trying to exist. I just feel like unless you're really trying to make these people's lives a bit less bad, just leave them alone and understand they're vulnerable, they don't need any more humiliation than they already have in real life.

Now, for the mass majority of the users kiwifarms picks on, however, is a different story. Most of them have chosen to be fuck-ups/degens, don't have massive setbacks regarding their physical/mental conditions, and they actively do stupid shit in a way that is disgraceful/lucrative/asking for drama. I do not define these people as "weak". They have power in their own way, I don't really feel bad for the majority of the people featured on here that face ridicule.

So in short, I don't think God looks down on me much because I participate in a website like this.

-do you have a personal philosophy which allows for this? (nietzsche perhaps?)

No not really.

I lack empathy, I don't care about strangers. I care very little in general but I don't go out of my way to be an asshole on purpose.

To be frank, after a lifetime of bullying, it's strangely cathartic to turn that around and laugh at others from afar. Even though my time spent here is less laughing at people and more simply observing.

I think the people that go too far digging for private information or cause/wishes harm on the lolcows here are weird as hell, and I think doing that means you're doing a bad thing. It's normal to laugh at people and gossip about them. It's sort of a version of people-watching on the streets, but the person you just so happen to be watching does batshit crazy stunts that you just can't help to laugh or be grossed out at. It's how humans are: we like to talk, get our feelings out, and then we go about our day.
