Is it a complete waste of time to attempt to use software that allows you to play PC games on mac? Im getting a base level M2 mac mini as a glorified smart TV and it would be nice to have the option. Im buying the stupid thing no matter what, I was just wondering how retarded it is to go down that rabbit hole.
He said PC games, like, computer games people actually play, not shitty totes dark and gritty clones of Sonic for the Sega Genesis.Late and gay, but you could have just gotten a Raspberry Pi for 50-80 dollars. I suspect that thing has "smart tv" options. And Linux distributions that essentially serve as a frontend for things like Retroarch.
I think he's talking about how you can stream steam games from your desktop PC to a Pi 4 or 5 using Steamlink. With a bit of tinkering on a Pi 5, you can set up Emulation Station to emulate everything up to the Gamecube, stream Steam games from your PC and launch Kodi to watch pirate streams and play videos you have downloaded on your PC and shit. You can use Konsta Kang's images to set it up like an Android box and you can install apps from the Google Play store that will let you use official apps to stream steam games from your PC, watch stuff like Netflix/Hulu/Youtube, play your pirated content via Kodi or VLC, play native Android TV games and emulate classic consoles. He said PC games, like, computer games people actually play, not shitty totes dark and gritty clones of Sonic for the Sega Genesis.
(no offence intended, I'm a big fan of drilling clowns to death)
That only happens when you shake mouse. Is it my imagination or is macOS more buggy then it used to be? Sometimes when clicking between apps the mouse gets super big for a split second, for example.
You could get a mid-end gaming PC for that money and use it as a Plex server too, why the fuck would you buy a mac for that? the only reason to own one nowadays IMHO is if you have to code stuff for iphones...Im getting a base level M2 mac mini as a glorified smart TV

The only reason for Apple Mini would be having whole ecosystem in house revolving around Apple solutions such as Apple Home, Apple TV and so on. Hence, I wouldn't recommend that option, period.
It happens much more often then that. If you click around a lot it keeps going big. How do I turn that off it's so stupid and annoyingThat only happens when you shake mouse.

System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Pointer > Shake mouse pointer to locate
I don’t see why it wouldn’t if it’s Thunderbolt/USB
Is this compatible with the M1 iMac? I'm trying to find a dock that can work with both the M1 iMac and a Lenovo Legion Go (USB4 with display port alt mode) that I can connect two monitors to and several usb devices. So I don't need to buy two expensive hubs and a kvm
I bet nobody here ever had Quadlink by Quadram and ran Apple ][ emulation shit on a PC in the '80s on a card that basically had an Apple on it.If I met a real Apple fanboy and talked about the first computer I ever used the Macintosh Quadra they would be able to tell me all about that piece of antiquated junk I mainly used to play the lamest shareware games on earth.
I doubt you ever had a card on an IBM PC that allowed you to run an Apple ][ natively.I had an Apple IIgs.
It didn't work as we didn't have the floppy drive or any disks, but still
I think the oldest computer I can name that I used is the Bondi Blue iMac G3I doubt you ever had a card on an IBM PC that allowed you to run an Apple ][ natively.
