Anti-vaxxers should get snipped or get their tubes tied after they reach a certain age if they're so concerned about their kids getting autism. There's a much bigger link between older parents and autism than vaccines and autism.

If they're antivaxers they're already autistic so they shouldn't have kids because their kids will automatically inherit super-autism.

Oh fuck I know this Emma Louise Potts character. Tangentially anyhow. Her husband I've run into professionally and he's very rational and understanding of things but she is a gateway to a dimension of autismal conspiracy and heading for lolcow status herself. She's also posted about 9/11 truthery.

I wonder if she realises that everything is chemicals and that in her better judgement infant mortality would be through the roof.

I've always kind of wondered how these people function as a couple. My dad is otherwise rational but when it comes to my mom he is totally on board with her beliefs in magnetic wands and whatever other shit. It's weird.

that reminds me of something i saw on tumblr a long time ago about how the colors on the back ends of toothpaste tubes would indicate if there were "chemicals" in it or not.
well i fucking hope there are chemicals in my toothpaste tube, i'd be pissed if i got an empty tube.
it's really time we start telling people who use "chemicals" to mean "bad things" not to use it like that anymore

Can't trust toothpaste. It turned my tooth enamel into fluoroapatite!

Slight non-sequitur but I had a fearmongering e-mail a while back from Sum Of Us claiming that a chemical called acrylamide, which has been linked with cancer, has been found in bread in Europe, and we need to lean on governments to ban it. I looked up acrylamide. It's a natural product of heating any starchy food and your daily consumption is about 0.001 mg, which is far below the lever at which teratogenic effects occur.

Similarly, an apple contains orders of magnitude more formaldehyde than any vaccine.

Young brides and a shallow gene pools, too. They claim their special needs children receive proper treatment, but I'm very skeptical about it. The Amish communities are pretty shady. The Supreme Court and Federal government should have stream rolled the shit out of them decades ago.
