With Anine News Network posting the following warning in their forums about Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi / Redo the Healer I figure we should do the exact opposite:

So please take glee in the controversy this anime will bring, and follow up this post with suggestions where rape is an acceptable punishment, tolerate all trollish and baiting responses in the Anime News Network thread and perhaps repost the best ones here in this thread, and make fun of those people who have had traumatic experiences due to animated works they can refuse to watch.
Ah, so then the main character should be excused since he was raped a bunch first, yes?

Sentai Filmworks is going to release Redo of Healer. Cue the outrage from the usual lot.

Honestly, I'm not even going to bother with this new healer anime because every time a new controversial animu comes around, it's shit except for the controversial part. Like the first episode of Goblin Slayer and the the first like maybe 6-8 of Shield Hero were good but the rest of the show was kinda poopoo. Like, you could rip these shows apart better without the outrage that makes people want to watch them just to spite you.
Instead of watching this new show that'll probably be shit, it's time to compile a big list of extremely specific instances where rape is acceptable.

I liked Goblin Slayer, but its true that both that show and Shield Hero both suffer from misidentification, they were neither actually all that edgy or particularly noteworthy.
People got into Shield Hero expecting edgy revenge fantasy and instead got some office politics bird bitch telling the main character to "work together better or I'll replace you", then whatever the fuck the turtle mess was.

This is actually an interesting topic for discussion, why should rape be worse than torture? Plus I'm pretty sure that the same people have no problem calling for rape of conservatives.
Murder is worse than either tbh. Merciful death my ass, no such thing as a fate worse than death.

Shield Hero blew its premise in twenty chapters, what’s the point anymore? Seriously, the moment Raph magically aged up it became dumb. A lot of series have that tendency nowadays. For an obscure example, Nai Saitou. Why ruin the premise?

Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train,” the animated film that has become the Japanese entertainment world tsunami of 2020, pushed its cumulative earnings to $313.7 million (JPY32.5 billion) over the Dec. 26-27 weekend. This makes the film that the biggest-ever box office hit in Japan, overtaking the previous record-holder, Miyazaki Hayao’s 2001 animated fantasy “Spirited Away,” which made $305 million, including revival screenings this year.

The film has ridden a box office rocket since its bow on Oct. 16, clearing the $100 million milestone in just ten days – another local record. In only 73 days it has driven its admissions total to 24,049,907 million on a total 379 screens, including 38 IMAX and 92 4D theaters.

Miyazaki Bros officially BTFO’d

People had zero problems with GOT and Ramsey cutting off greyjoy's dingdong.

Didn't America hate Demon Slayer though?

If anything I'd think of rape as being a psychological torture, there's a chance of getting over it physically, but the psychological trauma will probably never go away. It leaves a permanent mental scare and depending on the severity of the rape it'll leave physical ones too. The people that call for the rape of people they don't like have zero understanding about how bad rape actually is, they are garbage people that are making light of something very serious.

A Cruel God Reigns by Hagio Moto is probably the best example I can think of for the issue, it not only deals with the impact of rape/sexual abuse but the very real issue of it being perpetrated by not only an authority figure but one you've put your trust in. It's a very emotionally draining work, but I think it deals with the subject matter fairly well and I wish more people would take the chance to read it.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, I'll also take this chance to recommend Pure Love X Insult Complex, don't be thrown off too much by the tags on Novelupdates, it features a very compelling plot. It's one of those works that would be considered instantly triggering (just look at any of the 1 star reviews) and I don't see it ever getting an adaption due to the subject matter, but unlike a lot of the works that people hype up because it makes people mad this one isn't just the author getting off. For most people, the series is a case of "came for the PLOT but stayed for the plot," in that the author built an interesting world with a story to tell. One of those works that's slow to start, but once it gets going it's great, kind of start just skimming the sex bits to get back to the story.

I think that there are many cases where there are fates worse than death, though in most cases it depends based on the person. You see it come up a lot with immortal beings that are unable to die but watch as everyone they care about does and they are unable to make any connections. I can think of multiple story examples where a character being given a swift death would be considered merciful, but it's even the case in real life with things like assisted suicide due to medical conditions.

I kinda wonder what they'll do with Redo anime, because the manga is quite short and chapters come out one per 2 weeks. And most importantly, it's not finished. I wonder if they'll break Redo into two seasons, or use light novel material.

Pretty much the opposite. The seasonal normies voted it as anime of the decade in the Crunchyroll awards pretty much because the season had recently ended and those people have goldfish brain.

Not that the CR awards mean jack shit.

I don't know if the number of episodes has been confirmed yet, but assuming it's 12 episodes it will at least get to the part where he gets revenge on the lesbian. My guess is that they'll try to stretch it further and try to reach the Norn stuff. If it's 24 then yeah they'll have to go into LN territory.

It’s not meant to belittle or diminish the horrors of this world, but to magnify how awful death really is. Whatever hell you can imagine, deaths worse. I feel like too many people have become numb or ignorant about death. Every ancient religion teaches, at the very least, that if you fuck up your death, it’s going to be the most painful experience anyone could imagine. The idea that there are dates worse than death have only become more popular in recent times, even stories like Prometheus or Loki were still more hopeful compared to the true deaths in their respective apocalypses.

I hate stories that destroy the gravity of death, it becomes less interesting.

Redo of Healer is probably exactly what everyone thought Shield Hero was going to be in terms of edgy revenge story.

She should be worried about getting shot at instead of anime.

You're not wrong. I watched a hentai called Zero Sum Game Sex Crime. It was weird and the ending made no sense. A rock vocalist is in love with his brother, so he decides to get revenge by having his girlfriend raped? It abruptly ended, so I decided to read the manga and the story has quite a fucked up "happy ending" and I'm pretty sure that the rape fetish stereotype is justified.

There will be an edited and uncut version being shown on AT-X, a channel that specializes in showing uncensored shows. It'll be offensive from the looks of it, but I doubt it'll be THAT extreme.

Also, fake rape bad and talking about it will get you banned, but let's not focus on the accusations of Dylan "Hazukari" Kielman and Justin Sevakis.

Accusations of Justin? Whod he attempt to rape with his micropenis?
