As a fan of Persona 5, I highly approve. Hopefully Ryuji is still a giant fag and Morgana is asking everyone to sleep.

I really Don’t have high hopes for this. Persona 4 original anime wasn’t that good and I am expecting it’s going to suffer the same problems. Since no one understand how to properly adapt a RPG, and P5 being a 100 hour game with story problems ain’t going to help. Heck it’s because of those problems My expectations are low as is. What a game can get away with doesn’t translate well in anime format. But I would like to be proven wrong, maybe the anime fixes some problems, but the A-1 name doesn’t make me hopeful for that.
Is that the one with two of the three characters leaving from the village dying horribly so the anime can be all dark and edgy?Akame ga Kill! is fucking trash.

I never watched past the first episode. It was too dark for my tastes. And dark as in “for the sake of being dark” kinda way, not the entertaining way.Yes. And then they fuck that tone up by having the most cringy, failing humor I've seen in a long, long time.
I hate almost everything about it.
And these are the shows I avoid like the plague.I never watched past the first episode. It was too dark for my tastes. And dark as in “for the sake of being dark” kinda way, not the entertaining way.
Goku didn’t even make the wish. My main 17 did.I really liked that it wasn’t as simple as “Goku vs (blank), Goku wins in the end” that we typically get. They added just enough this time that it was satisfying for me
Durarara's first season was just outstanding, though for some reason I never managed to go far in it's 2nd though.Huh. Tiny bit surprised nobody recommended Durarura or Monogatari for "Urban fantasy" settings. Duraura probably going to cover that side of things a bit better.
Urban fantasy is basically every day happenings with a mix of the surprising or supernatural in it.
So Chunni might also fit into that category as well?
Ah, the Puss in Boots ep.I remember watching one episode of FLCL way back in the day. I had no idea what the name of the show was, all I can remember was that weird shit happened and the very end of the episode where a girl revealed her glasses were fake. And then the next episode preview just showed the pink haired lady pitching a baseball over and over again.
It left an impression on me that's for sure. I should probably watch FLCL at some point.
This is worth watching, and has some neat tidbits I learned along the way. Apparently this is one of those rare instances where they animated the dialogue after they did the voice work! I almost couldn't tell since I've been so used to the way these things are usually done. This is amazing... here's the only pre-Ghibli Takahata work I have not seen, Jarinko Chie, in full on YouTube.
