A weird request, but does anybody know of any good Anime Short Series? I've watched Di Gi Charat and Luluco but can't think of many outside of that.
If you're somewhat interested in Japanese literature, I would check out Aoi Bungaku.

Holy fucking shit, if you take Great Days, reverse it, and put Chase over it, it syncs up fucking perfectly, and basically alludes to Bites the Dust.

I've recently been reading Tokyo Ghoul and watching Diamond is Unbreakable and One Punch Man.

DiU I jumped into, haven't seen the previous series yet. Did not expect to hear Savage Garden over the closing credits.

One Punch Man I like. I like how ludicrous it is. I hate his face, though.

I got burned out last year on Jojo a few volumes away from the end of Stone Ocean. Picked it up again tonight, going to start Part 7 tomorrow.

I thought it's Vento Aureo that people shittalk?
Vento Aureo easily possesses the least interesting JoJo and has the shittiest ending of all the parts imo.
Araki's dumb face wrote Fugo before realizing his Stand was too powerful and was originally going to have him be a spy on the group sent from Passione which would've been super dramatic. Unfortunately Purple Haze is fucking broken so he just wrote Fugo off as a chickenshit which sucked because he was one of my more favorite members of the group.

I loved the arrow fight tbh. The conclusion was a bit short but it wasn't an asspull like, say, Jotaro moving against DIO, because the arrow is clearly stated to be the gamebreaker.
It's pretty strong thematically too, but it might be just me being a sucker for these dramatic speeches about resolve. And that rolling stone chapter made me feel so there's that too.

On the other side, Part 5 is too much like Part 3 in the sense that it's fight of the week until something happens. Part 4 handled that better with the crazy noisy bizarre town setting.

"Don't worry, he dies" Dude, spoilers.

Having watched the first episode, only real knocks I can put against it are the attempts at British accents and the animation at points.

So in my excitement for JJBA coming to Toonami, I forgot to take into account the filthy casuals that would watch the show

"Toonami replaced One-Punch Man with this"
This series used to be a small little cult classic thing over here. What the hell did the old fans do to deserve this?

Time to go plaster spoilers all over the internet.

Speaking of which...

Dio's English voice, appearance, and personality made me think of Liquid Snake.... It was a little awkward, but I'm not complaining.

OH GOD VEGETA'S A FUCKING BADASS. I didn't know how much I wanted to see him curbstomp Black until I actually got to see it happen.
