By the time the second season airs, it will have been nearly four years since the first season began airing. Damn, talk about a long wait.
This sort of thing has been around for over 40 years at this point. Japan really loves to simply port the best moments of a TV show to the big screen this way.That's actually fairly common in anime; they're called compilation movies. The upside is that there's usually new/updated animation and music.
Well at least it'll come out a lot quicker than it took for the Trigun movie to come out.Is anyone even still really hyped for attack on titan anymore? I mean at some point the hype has to die out, right? Also what on earth is that season going to look like that it took them this long? Did they completely overhaul the writing? Or did they get struck with a host of development problems?
I guess the question is whether they're working towards making it look amazing, or if they're struggling to make it not-shit.
