Well one of the side villain is a trans woman that gets that gets killed off by overhaul.
No he isn't; he's an Onee, a (usually gay) man who speaks like a woman.

It's kinda normal for japanese media to just have a funny foreigner with broken japanese, or scary black dude.
But this guy had a Japanese wife and a mixed-race kid. In fact, the mother points out in a flashback that the kid's genes (as in, looks) are all taken from him.

Or Nagisa
Same. I have no idea about the amount of wokeness in contemporary Japanese media, but I think that whatever angle they will use with those two, they will be deemed transphobic, unless they make them voice their desire to transition. And that would be a complete betrayal of Ryunosuke character, since she has the habit to beat to a pulp whoever dares to mistake her for a boy.

Lord knows where they'll go with this. I just can't see her as trans given her situation.

Watching the Cyberpunk anime and it's just alright, some fun stuff though a lot of trashy cliches and coom shit, but I find it funny the data expert who finds out even the type of media the main character likes is called "Kiwi" which prompts the fucker to say "Don't you care about privacy?"

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a reference with how much shit they reference.

The jailbait is the only reason to watch it, imo.

The super pale one? She's kind of annoying and her brother was an obvious random annoying character that was going to get whacked like the black dude in the original D&D movie.
Yeah, the masturbatory material. She's the most fun and I at least know her motive - she likes the main character, that's why she does the stuff that she does. I have no idea what the goals of those others were.

I haven't gotten far enough in to really know anything about her, but about half way in and I have no idea what anyone wants except maybe the main dude? I'd probably like some of the characters as they have fun tropes, but without the character development most of them are annoying. Really I'd rather just get more time with the corpos and fixers, they seem to have something going on other than generic moody.

The main character basically stays the way he is (boring), but gets swollen with muscle later on.

That's usually a transvestite in Asian cultures. A lot girlish gay men practice that in most Asian countries. (e.g. Thailand, Philippines, Japan)

Probably rarer in Muslim-dominated Asian countries...
