Oh you should buckle your fuckles. You're in for a shitshow if you already began.im going to watch a show called Gungrave. its even gonna get a game on the ps5 soon.
Same cannot be said about the teams who scanlate the manga.Scanlation master race.
Cross Ange is a show i have heard alot about but never watched. it looks good.Thinkin bout Cross Ange lol. Am tempted but fanservice is......hit or miss to me. Like I know that there's rape and the one girl is spanked by Chris Patton for some random reason (?) gives me ptsd to the scene in Kite where the villain is on the phone while two women (i fucking hope) dressed as schoolgirls are blowing him.
I heard it's actually very great and kinda feminist despite the fanservice and random lesbian shit. Cavity search 2014 was precursor for Shield Hero Accusatory Rape 2019.
So safe, thanks square.
You're not missing much. Even with the "shock and fanservice", the characters are fucking awful and the plot is dumb. I like Nana Mizuki, but this is not one of her better roles.Thinkin bout Cross Ange lol.

It's cute so far. Like the others I was wondering what the Made in Abyss connection was beyond a cosmetic similarity, then I got to episode 3 where they decide to delve into a fucking abyss.Check out Somali and the Forest Spirit.
What do you mean finished it? The show and mango are ongoing. If you've only seen season 1, make sure you don't miss the 3rd movie (the other two are recaps): your anguish has only begunJust finished Made In Abyss. HOLY HELL! The original story was just amazing, but Nanachi's adventure added even more depth and heartache. The character is so relatable, she reminds me of my own daughter. I haven't cried so much since watching Kaiba.
Considering how ridiculous it is, my guess is that SE went full GTA remake and trained a bot to automatically censor images, only to not have anyone actually inspect the results and create this ridiculous mess.
I know Square Enix has an "ethics department" but I'm guessing they are complying with Apple's rules regarding what is allowed on their service. Sentai/HIDIVE used to have uncensored versions of their shows on the Apple and PS4 app, but both were taken down due to the content. Now HIDIVE is back up on the Apple store (but not on PlayStation) and a lot of the mature shows are missing. I'm not sure why the ridiculous censorship is applied to the manga considering how manga aggregator apps such as Manga Fox and MReader have lots of uncensored manga and they're are easily available to download from the ios store. I'm guessing this is why certain titles such as Ayakashi Triangle had chapters skipped over in the Manga Plus app.So Square Enix put out an app to read manga.

Try Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne if you haven't given that a chance. It has action, horror, sci-fi and supernatural elements along with some gore. There's some sex in it but mostly lesbian stuff from what I recall.Thinkin bout Cross Ange lol. Am tempted but fanservice is......hit or miss to me. They're charging people $1 per chapter for this.So Square Enix put out an app to read manga.

Seems like Apple is pretty lax about enforcement of their app ToS when political forces aren't involved. Tumblr had to get to the point of having outright CP on their app before Apple shut them down. I think a lot of this in coming internally from Squenix themselves.I'm not sure why the ridiculous censorship is applied to the manga considering how manga aggregator apps such as Manga Fox and MReader have lots of uncensored manga and they're are easily available to download from the ios store. That's the only way this would make sense to me as well. It reminds me of how some discord servers have a bot named Clyde that automatically prevents you from uploading images that it thinks contains nudity, but in practice it can also trigger on stuff that's no big deal.Considering how ridiculous it is, my guess is that SE went full GTA remake and trained a bot to automatically censor images, only to not have anyone actually inspect the results and create this ridiculous mess.
Cross Ange is pretty entertaining. It's kind of the lesser of the three late 2000s/early 2010s Sunrise trainwrecks, but it's enjoyable. The villain is really smarmy and scummy, the main cast is pretty fun and there's some decent fight scenes. The music is really good too, but most things Fukuda has a hand in have good music. It's worth a watch. It's got a lot of neat little easter eggs and references in there too if you're a mecha fan.Thinkin bout Cross Ange lol. Am tempted but fanservice is......hit or miss to me. Yeah but these aren't exactly simultaneous events, there's a timeline here. Examples of Japanese corpos overcompensating for Western insanity on things they themselves don't traditionally give a shit about have been mounting drastically recently, while the big historical example Nintendo set is something you can only view retrospectivly as a cynical and wise strategic policy, especially now that they're less restrictive than fucking Sony. Meanwhile Apple feel more vulnerable within their own market realm than they maybe ever have been, which also has the knock-on effect of opening them up to consumer criticism. Not that they're the originator of puritanical sentiment, but they're major gatekeeper and valuable target if they can be neutralised somehow.Seems like Apple is pretty lax about enforcement of their app ToS when political forces aren't involved.
