There really was no surprise the main villain of JJBA: Eyes of Heaven would be a new form for DIO. Still, with Other World Diego being announced that means there's FIVE DIOS in this game now. Takehito Koyasu better have one hell of a pay check for doing this.

In non-JoJo related news I checked out Gangsta. Either I'm an enormous hypocrite for finding it entertaining while hating Black Lagoon or it really is just a better show (meh, probably the former). The dub's pretty good, which is very nice considering Funimation has been on a losing streak lately with their dubs

This is interesting because a Tiger & Bunny movie CAN work (unlike *cough* Ghost in the Shell). A buddy superhero comedy, if they can get actual American brands as the sponsors, hell the first arc against Jake Martinez can easily be condensed to a movie and still leave room for a sequel.

The fact that it's possible actually makes me a little excited for the movie, PLEASE do not screw this up

This article is a bit lengthy but it'll probably make you happy.

Long story short; he staff behind it are huge fans of the show, want to make a new chapter to the story that explores the dynamic Kotetsu and Barnaby have, and all the characters will be as faithful as possible. I'm still cautiously optimistic but after reading this I'm less cautious and more optimistic.

Also if anyone in this thread (@Coster) hasn't watched Tiger & Bunny, I strongly urge you to do so. It's one of my personal favorites and I absolutely adore it.

Have finally decided to dive headfirst into the Gundam franchise, and am on Episode 8 of the original series.

Seeing how there's at least a few people here reading Berserk... The Korean version of the latest chapter leaked, and aside from it being a great chapter in its own right, we're apparently returning to Guts and company in the next chapter.

So I guess we soon get to replace "when are we off the boat" with "when do we leave Elfheim" or something.

As I near the end of Aldnoah's first season, I'm beginning to see it's not so much cookie cutter. No, it's not that benign. Aldnoah Zero, at it's heart, is a Frankenstein's monster of mecha. It takes various elements from those who came before it and appropriates them. A little Evangelion here, a little Gundam SEED there, you get the idea. In the end Aldnoah Zero doesn't have much of an identity by itself.

I keep comparing it to Gundam SEED in my mind, but at least SEED's characters had chemistry... with the exception of Freedom-Kira and Lacus. The character interactions feel about as stiff as Power Rangers Megaforce and...

Wow. I can't believe I just said that.

Also, the science feels like the writers watched Mythbusters, saw something cool and tried to recreate it using the wikipedia page.

Only thing that stands out is the music... and I like the Sleipnir. It's such a grunt unit and I love it to bits.

Almost finished with Mobile Suit Gundam. It's great, the only thing holding it back is it's extremely dated animation.
It was the late 1970s, Animation all across the board (even Disney to an extent) looked cheap and amateurish. To be honest though, I've never been a big fan of the original, even putting aside the animation. Can't quite put my finger as to why though.

Decided to give My Hero Academia a go, went through everything available in two days. I'm pleasantly surprised, I gotta say. Initially worried at first after I read that Naruto was a major inspiration, but I do enjoy reading it so far.

Though I gotta say,
I have no idea what's up with the guy who's constantly got a hand pushed into his face, at least in terms of design.
