BABY FUCK, BABY FUCK, IT'S AWWWWWWWWRIGHT *blender*

That truly was one of 4 chan's most disturbing memes

And it's from Mai-chan's Daily Life.

It was a torture fetish comic. The characters would regrow their missing body parts no matter how badly mangled by throwing meat on them, like a frozen turkey. Pretty interesting stuff if you consider that someone was into that enough to draw an entire manga for it.

I question their sanity. (:_( *SIGH*

I just finished Rozen Maiden: Zurückspulen (hence the avatar change) and I'm so happy because they finally managed to hit all of the notes I love about Rozen Maiden (interesting narrative, strong visuals and characterization, subtle humor) without any of the things I hated about the series from 10 years ago (annoying comic relief, good animation switching to lazy chibi characters for humor scenes, plots that grind to a halt for entire episodes).

The problem is that I'm not sure I can actually recommend it to anyone because it's not a very newbie-friendly adaptation and it really isn't worth sloughing through the 2003 series to enjoy this one. So I'm just going to link the awesome ending theme here.

Woah woah woah, hold on. There's another Rozen Maiden? After all these years?!

I need to pay attention.

Just got done with the first 3 episodes of Outbreak Company. 'Tis okay, I couldn't really get interested in the story enough though.

I've also been keeping up with Little Busters! Refrain and damnit, it's just as good as the first series.

I haven't watched a robot anime in awhile. I settled on Turn A Gundam, the industrial revolution setting and Miyazaki-esque visuals sold it. I've never finished a Gundam series before, and if I don't switch back to tokusatsu I'm going to watch the original Macross as well.

Did anyone hear about that new anime called Microsoft?

So I have a kind of obsession with Korean anime knock off movies, which if you don't know used to be a huge thing. And someone on Youtube has finally uploaded Koreas answer to DBZ, Superkid! I just pressed play, on a technical level it doesn't look bad, it looks well animated, but man whoever came up with the character designs must have made sure to study the hell out of Akira Toriyamas Art style, right down to the odd mix of Scifi and Asian fantasy imagery.

Just picked up the first 2 volumes of Attack on Titan. Even my sister (who doesn't like anime, tokusatsu or sci-fi) said that the cover was cool.

I really, really want one of those trainee coats. Not a cosplayer, but I know a good looking coat when I see one.

Welp, I just watched the entirety of Gurren Lagann on DVD in one sitting.

I've seen the whole series before, but when I got home from work I decided to watch it again, only in one day. I cut corners by skipping the intros/endings and the recap episode, but that's it.

Just finished The Devil is a Part Timer in 2 days. Really fun, not too much fan service and some likable characters. But man, the director really has it bad for this one supporting character. Heard some of the scenes he cut from the novels (in order to give his waifu more screentime) are essential if they adapt some of the later novels, made the female lead more aggressive towards the male lead and removed scenes that put doubt on his one true pairing.

He drew this picture of her and does a slow pan up shot of it as the ending for the first couple of episodes. It's...kinda creepy how into it he was.

Anyway, I'm hoping for a second season.

That's a tad unpleasant.
