Can't talk about bad dubs without Malaysian dragon ball Z. Big Green Dub is also absolutely fucking horrible, but Malaysian takes the cake.

Also bad are subtitles on bootleg anime DVDs, I was watching a Saint Seiya ep subbed that way, recently. I own a bunch of Hong Kong boots, because there used to be a store in my area that sold them. In that Saint Seiya ep, they had to have said, "Go to Die!" like 8 times.

They will have logos like these on the packages.

And cases like these.

This week's episode of Free! was quite possibly the best one yet. Normally, the show's very light hearted and fun, but this week's episode felt a bit more emotional, though not at the cost of the fun, which was still present. It really just worked.

I remember years back, when I was a full blown weeaboo and completely obsessed with Inu Yasha, there was a manga store in my town that had some bootleg Inu Yasha DVD's for sell. And since I didn't know anything about bootlegs and was crazy for every single Inu Yasha item, I bought them all. The following weeks I watched the fuck out of them and I loved it.

About a year or so I actually tried watching them again and I could only sit through three episodes before I gave up. The quality and the subtitles were just awful. I'm seriously wondering how I didn't notice the bad quality years back.
Okay, my english back then was pretty bad, so I didn't notice the bad subtitles that much (even though some lines were in chinese), but damn, was I blind back then...

So yeah, bootlegs are pretty awful.

Mahou Shoujo of the End. It feels like a High School of the Dead ripoff, but with Magical Girls instead of Zombies...

That is fucking awesome!

My brother recommended Kill La Kill, a new action show by GAINAX (sorta). Since it looked pretty Gurren Lagann-esque I decided to watch the first two episodes that are out. Would recommend if you like colorful, slick, fast paced animation, dark comedy, and fanservice.

Kill La Kill is great. The only animu that even interests me this season.

Just went through the entirety of Uzumaki the other day. It was great but I have a question, why didn't they try and leave the town earlier? I mean, after the 3rd weird death or so related to spirals I would be so outta there.

The anime was fucking awesome. But dubs... ew.

The other day I read some Guro manga by Waita Uziga. This is the least gory pic from any of his stuff that I could find.

I also read one, that has no safe post able images, from another artist called, "Beheading Ceremony" were a bunch of Middle schoolers are aroused because they are about to be beheaded.

I really wonder if Waita Uziga and Juan Goto, are trying to make some satirical point about Japanese society. And even if the stuff they draw is disgusting (Juan Goto especially, although his is far less gory) These guys draw very well. Which makes me wonder why those types of manga artists never try to get mainstream work, as well.

I've been watching some Cowboy Bebop lately. How I wished I could see more of this anime at a younger age.
