Oh yeah. I started reading it last year, then forgot about it. Has it actually done stuff like people were saying it would?

Yeah. It goes for a lot of buildup; The first arc is about 30 chapters? But I think it starts getting pretty engaging before it finishes that.

It sets a pretty good pace from there, so far at any rate.

Build Fighters blows Try out of the water once again. I didn't think it was possible to tear up watching Gundam before.

I thought the Build Fighters special was extremely forced, like Reiji out of nowhere, but damn if I didn't have a good time with it. It goes to show how having good characters can carry a show.

I've been reading Screaming Lessons lately. It's a horror anthology shojo series. So far, I have had 3 reactions. 1) upset when I feel the protagonist suffered an ill-deserved tragic fate, 2) uncomfortable when I remember just how young these characters are supposed to be (elementary and middle-school aged) and 3) these protagonists acted psycho and it was unsettling considering their ages.

Really liked the Execution Classroom chapter.

So when the fuck are we getting a second season of One Punch Man?
I'm sure that's been on everyone's mind for quite a while now. The real problem of course is that the original manga they're adapting is published monthly and the studio didn't want to go through the usual bother to create filler episodes in order to catch up to it if they got too ahead, reason why they decided to do just those episodes for the time, though it is a shame when the momentum is such that we do hate to wait for anything new to come out unless we went back and read the remaining chapters of the manga.

I read all of The Breaker and The Breaker: New Waves a while ago and I was amazed by how good it was. A shame part 3 is going to take forever to come out.

It was a lot better than I expected it to be. It's about a bunch of losers/outcasts/misanthropes who develop superpowers that can only be used if there's some kind of malicious intent involved. I expected over the top violence, angst, and faux philosophizing but instead got fairly reasonable levels of violence, angst, and philosophizing as well as an unexpected level of feels.
That is not what it is about at all. The real feels also comes from the last thing the afterword. It could have been great.

Yeah I'll definitely agree with that middle part, at least. I kinda hope he gets to do more with it, what with calling it his life's work and all.

I think Kaguya is selling which is good it gives me hope one day he gets to redo ib.

I'm a bit burnt out right now from work, so I started watching Golion and Fang of the Sun Dougram. The former since I was craving something oldschool, the latter since I just read Dune and it may fit.

So I started a thread for this on its because it's just so very wtf, but...Jaden Smith made an anime.
