I don't know, he always gave me the vibe of sour grapes (HOW DARE I NOT MAKE THEIR MONEY) and hateboner (I'LL MAKE MY MONEY OFF OF THEM!) to me. Like, he wants to use his opinion to net the hatebase viewership; kind of like the more autastic DSP hatebase does to me.

Yeah, the fact he harps on about TGWTG whenever something goes wrong in his life just makes me think he's bitter and a bit pathetic really. Especially due to the ferocity in how he goes after them, he's like legit mad.

Jeez, and I thought LordKat was decent up until this point! Makes me wonder if CA has any semblance of people that are decent or it's a channel run by a band of lolcows with twisted delusions and fuck knows what.

Mike Jeavons and Guru Larry seem perfectly sane. Jew Wario was also apparently a nice guy until he shot himself (who knows what that was about)

Oh, Jew Wario killed himself because he got fucked over by an online gig run by greedy lying assholes and was hemorrhaging money to the point of bankruptcy if I remember it right. Then ex coworkers like "Angry" Joe Vargas made videos commemorating him while using ads to make money off of it (because turning ads off on YT is dirt simple and not knowing how seems like a shit excuse).

I thought it was depression. Man, the Channel Awesome rabbit hole gets more and more deeper with each bit of incriminating info. Makes me want to write a book about it.

LordKat's gotten better recently. At the time of the Spoony hate he was having a lot of problems, a mental breakdown he discovered. He went through therapy and now seems like a chill guy.

If that tumblr of his has reblogs and post where he spergs and overreacts to things no one cares about or screaming about brony hate/fursecution could warrant a thread, then he can count as lol-cow sperging about things no one cares about, that would stand out and make him a lolcow but I'm verging off-topic here.

The sour vibe LordKat gave off was shown when it came to him calling Spoony out. One can understand with the betrayal thing Spoony did that it would make him look immature due to screaming betrayal after seeing a trailer for a first-person X-Com but telling him to kill himself with a gun his brother owned was crossing the line.

Edit: Video of LordKat calling out Spoony. He does note in the beginning he had respect for Spoony and TGWTG but that respect is later gone.

LordKat definitely went too far, but I always loved his takedown of Spoony.

I wouldn't call him a good person, but what separates him from most of Channel Awesome is that he actually lives on Planet Earth. He's more of an upfront asshole rather than an undercover asshole,* a delusional asshole,** a stick-up-their asshole,*** or a combo of all three.****

That's always better in my book.

LordKaT is a polarizing case for me. On one hand, he is a pretty big and vindictive asshole and ever getting on his wrong side means he'll not hesitate on dumping all of his dirt on you. See: That CA supercut. That being said, he admits that he's a vindictive asshole, which shows that at the very least he's self-aware, and that he does work hard at his gig. I can't remember any complaints of him ever being lazy with his work aside from Until We Win where it's shown that he uses GameShark at some points, and from what I remember he's doing it purely for the footage and not for weaseling out of his gig. Although admittedly I don't know quite a lot about the UWW issue so maybe someone knows more than me. The guy does seem pretty passionate about his work though, so I respect that.

Please, LordKat is passionate about nothing. Every time I hear him rant about the lack of leadership, innovation or passion at Channel Awesome, I can't help but think about Jason's failings as a producer on his own site. He talks a huge game about his background as a programmer but ultimately does nothing with it; he hasn't updated his website since he made it, claims to have made it deliberately mediocre because he's afraid of someone stealing a unique design if he ever made it (because paying $50.00 to copyright his site design is so hard). He uses TGWTG as his tugboat every time he needs a small boost for his ad revenue.

He's literally the only person from Channel Awesome that could accomplish anything substantial and he does nothing with it. He could make a fucking video game & publish it on Steam if he wanted but he wouldn't because he's comfortable being a loser.

And iirc, he said Spoony has a small dick because he wouldn't move to L.A. Wouldn't he be in the same boat like Spoony due to not publishing a game he made that is mediocre? Even then, that kinda makes one suspect he is either lying or abandoned it if he claims to made it mediocre and hasn't updated the website.
