Apologies over here in Britbong land Landlords have a lot more power, so that was a myopic post but wasn't there something about that flat being an emergency tenancy? It was thought that may be the case but usually does emergency tenancy have a timer like you have 6 - 12 months there and have to find elsewhere.

Someone suggested that it might be emergency housing but there’s no way to know. I highly doubt it but whatever.

A nice place like hers probably does a yearly inspection, likely in the spring. That’s usually just to check for regular wear and tear and to determine if any maintenance is required. Ask any landlord, most people do not have Pinterest-looking apartments so there’s nothing bad about ALR’s hoard. The only thing that could get them in trouble is having too many pets.

And usually there will be notification given of the inspection happening at least 24 hours ahead of time, which is enough time for Amber to send Becky out for the afternoon with any pets who aren't supposed to be there (assuming she is above the limit, that is).

Oh, ok, that makes more sense then. But no, as far as I know that's not an issue in the US, except perhaps for subsidized low-income housing (and even then, if it is a thing I've never seen it mentioned). It's obviously a waste of money to rent a unit with a room you won't use at all, although some people use the extra room for guests if they have them often, or as an office if they're working from home.

I’m not sure how much she’s getting either. I think a lot of people look at Social Blade and her overall views seem to be down.

What remains fascinating, however, is the sheer amount she spends on junk. Every time @fvckm3 shows a list, it’s usually $200-300 worth. If she did 12 videos in September, that’s easily minimum $2400 on absolutely nothing. Most of it is just piled in her bed!

Since the "Where is Amberlynn" thread is already closed, I guess I'll sperg here...

She has to be lying about demonetization. Today is Oct. 17th, and still either no ads/limited ads for me. Mostly banner ads, and the political bullshit that's stuffed at the front and unskippable. She might not be fully demonetized, but if it was just a glitch, I would think it would be corrected by now, wouldn't it? Surely, this is not just my viewing experience.

Chantal also admitted to a recent livestream getting demonetized because she mentioned her weight, so something's changed or is definitely in the process of changing. Not that an OnlyFans account is 'beneath' someone like Chantal (or Amber), but it does suggest to me that Youtube of the Near Future will no longer be a reliable source of income for glorifying disordered eating, however that's loosely defined in TOS.

It's also possible she got a Community Strike, as someone else suggested. But I believe those only last a week. She's been gone longer than that now.

Either way, her trying to 'punish' people by suggesting that she might not come back if people aren't kissing her shelf ass is HILARIOUSLY short-sighted and just bad business on her part. Like it or not, this pays for the roof over her and Becky's head. Nothing is in jeopardy if she doesn't return, except for her livelihood.

Mah mentulz won't be enough at some point. She's gonna have to buck up and put out. The days where she could take the path of least resistance and still be financially comfortable are dwindling, in my opinion. I doubt she's saved anything.

It's not like there's a negative connotation to her lifestyle either. If you're able to look past the flesh mounds you see someone who quite literally sits on her ass and eats all day without having to work for the thousands of dollars she casually spends on useless garbage. You don't see the sleep apnea, you don't see the rotting flesh and leaking legs, you don't see the inability to sit on a toilet, and you certainly don't see the handfuls of medications she shovels in her mouth to mitigate the havoc she's wreaking on her body. If you take her content at face value it might seem attractive to laze around and consume all day. Lord knows she tries her best to make it look like her day to day is comparable to a celebrity

Sometimes I watch Amber and get bitten by the Green-Eyed Binge Monster. I work a decent job, but it can be stressful because I have very strict deadlines. That aside, there are times when I WISH I could just sit around doing whatever the fuck I wanted and generate a decent income. But that thought is fleeting because I immediately get sucker-punched by the crushing reality, literally, at the cost that lifestyle has had Amber's body. Nothing is worth that, I will take my 8-5, my well maintained 2002 Toyota, and not weighing 600lb to make a living.

That's true for so many, I think (regarding retirement). People need purpose. There's also a lot of intrinsic reward in overcoming challenges or completing tasks. There's no growth without it. There's a reason Amber has aged like 20 years since starting Youtube. Bad habits and inertia.

Her misanthropic view of the world only serves to distort the truth of her situation even more. She thinks getting paid to breathe is a win and a big 'Fuck You' to society, but that's just the story she tells herself, to make it ok.

If you take a pre-retirement course, the instructor will tell you that besides the financial aspects, you need to develop either some activities such as volunteering, taking a hobby, learning to play golf, anything to fill your time now that you are not working. This is why a lot of people go back to work. I know a surgeon that is now selling tools at a hardware store after he retired from his practice. This is not to earn money but to fill his time and connect with people. He loves it. Amber is a case by herself. A 30-year-old doing nothing instead of learning something is beyond comprehension. While physically, she can’t really do much, at least she could take an online degree in an area that she is interested in. Her life is void of anything interesting to do, so this is why she spends her days going shopping and eating.

I don't think this ads change has to do with the weight discussion tbh, my guess is that they're rearranging it, since the change of being able to add middle ads to videos less than 10mins I believe there's more space for ads in the videos than proper ads.
With the covid situation YouTube may be facing less advertising than usual, youtubers were already complaining about it, it looks like finally hit the freak shows channels. We will see.
But it seems the ad bonanza ( one every 2mins ) is over, at least for now.

The theory about her running out of dosh may be food for thought. She made what at her height over accumulative months about 50 000. She was spending that whilst making that though. She as of about August has EASILY spent about 12k she is spending through 6k a month. So as predicted Amber's stats are depleting hard, I sense she is going to do like in January and post like 3 videos in November. She did this in January after her posting a lot in December its because she runs out of shit to do. Bare in mind October is the most profitable month in adsense optics so she is shooting herself in the foot. These are the lowest her monthly views have been in 2 years. That was expected completely its like DSP and the subs stuff it is artificially inflated by her constantly posting and making the number go up. I honestly do not think she will post for another week but at that point she is 1 week in of a new month rota of money, so at this point its like a circling the drain.

This of course is not considering her demonetisation because she actually has something has happened. I logged in on a different browser with edge no adblock and separate computer ran through 70 vids and got 4 starter ads in those - over the course of 3 years. I am in the UK but I had a US friend check and got similar results. NONE OF THESE VIDEOS HAD MID ROLLS and this was different from when I checked on friday just gone. In most videos she only had 1 banner ad on friday she had about 4.

Amber is lying about her monetisation absolutely and is probably in some denial now. We know something has happened because Chantel has been hammered by this too and I believe why this is why Chantal has been trying to get other sources of revenue too. This is interesting because I think her money earned is going to deplete massively now I think she is going to earn less than 2k now.
