So I was checking out social blade the other night (not sure how accurate they are) but noticed that ALR's coinage seems to be dropping. Another thing I noticed was that on her subscribers list for the past couple of months for only ONE day in each of that month she suddenly out of the blue gets 1000 new subscribers ? Things must be getting bad when you have to buy subscribers lol.

Most channels have only a lifespan of a couple of years after they peak before they become irrelevant. Channels that manage to reinvent themselves are the exception, not the norm.
The only thing that can save Amber’s career is her losing weight and turning her channel into a proper health and fitness channel for big people. She could make a fortune doing this. We’re talking seven figures a year easy. There are so many ways to monetize fitness content. Videos, books, workout plans, fitness apps, public speaking gigs, personalized nutrition, etc.. All of these things sell at a pretty high price, too. It’s not unusual for fitness books to sell for $50-$100 or more. She’s sitting on an absolute gold mine.
It will be a pleasure to watch her squander all of her opportunities.

She's not buying subs. That's just how Social Blade displays stats, as of September 2019. Depending on the size of the channel, they will only report every 100 or 1000 gained/lost subs. Earlier this month, it took her 12 days to amass a thousand new subs.

Most people miss the opportunities presented to them, so she'd be right in line with that. Of course, most of them miss because they don't recognize those opportunities, being busy with the other ten thousand things they have going on. Big Al has none of that in her life, which makes it either funnier or sadder, depending on what kind of mood you're in.

I would actually argue that Amber is further in life than many trauma-free 30yolds too. How many 30 year-olds are there that can support themselves and their live-in partner that has no job, afford rent, afford a car, afford to provide for two cats and a dog, afford to order takeout every day for months, afford to buy mountains of clothes, chachkis, toys, iPhones, food that she then throws away, afford to pay for cancer treatment, etc.? Not many. This youtube thing has been her goldmine, her salvation, far beyond anything that she could've hoped to accomplish based on her education and skillset.
She is more than lucky and she can afford to pull herself out of this depression/disorder, pay for therapy, treatment, nutritionists, etc. There is nothing stopping her except the fact that she is lazy. Money can't buy happiness, I get it, but it can buy you a fast track ticket to it. But then, you have to buy the fucking ticket and get on the train yourself and I guess that's too much effort for Amber.

I am not certain if I totally agree with you. The fact that she is can spend as much as she wants does not tell the whole picture. While it is true that she earns a fair amount of money with little work involved, this income is far from being guaranteed. She is now complaining that it becoming difficult to pay for all her expenses. She is lucky to live in a place that is not expensive. Her income in London or New York would not go as far as in Lexington.
Most 30-year-old women have jobs or careers, paying for a mortgage, family expenses, saving for holidays and retirement. Most women of that age have matured enough to realize that spending money willy-nilly is not a path of financial happiness.

Nothing personal @Moogoogaipen, but as been said many times here in the Hamberverse -- she could be Jeff Bezos or Warren Buffet wealthy, but she's still trapped in 600 lbs. of fat and can't even enjoy the simpler things in life due to that fact. No one here that I know of would trade places with her no matter how much money she brings in doing basically fucking nothing than publishing a shitty vlog when the spirit moves her. Using Amber and "accomplished" in the same sentence is an oxymoron. The only thing she's truly accomplished is staying alive and gaining weight. I see homeless people all the time with dogs as pets. I see the same homeless people with shopping carts full of clothes. She grifted a roof over her head for years from those that took pity on her sorry ass. The amount of money she wastes on absolutely useless shit is asinine.
But think for a second. If she didn't have that Ubucks income, perhaps her life arc may have been different? She might have actually adulted somewhat because she was forced to like the rest of us seem to do? I dunno. I don't see any measure of true accomplishment in her life, other than she's god damned lucky, that's all. And luck, just like fame and fortune, can be very fleeting.

I think we essentially agree. I myself said that she is extremely lucky to be in the position she is in. I'm not arguing that she "accomplished" this via any kind of personal effort, but that it fell into her lap, basically, and has given her a leg up on many of her peers in age group. And instead of thanking her stars for this luck and working towards fixing her issues, she is just pissing it all away.
Many of the adult life milestones are around financial independence and she has that and has had it for some years now (sure, she was a grifter before, but she's been supporting herself independently for 3-4 years now). This shouldn't and wouldn't be possible for 99.9% of people in her position who mostly live off of unemployment or disability or worse, supported by a caregiver (usually a parent).
To bring this back to my original point: her stupid internet quote (was posted a couple of pages ago, sorry abt bringing it up again) is mostly referring to people who have been dealing with and investing in fixing their issues and therefore may not be as further along in their careers, their relationships, their financial independence. Amber hasn't invested in fixing anything, she hasn't sacrificed career/independence over her physical and mental wellbeing, etc moreover, due to her incredible luck with her YT channel, she is quite better off in a lot of areas than a lot of people her age, so her whining about this is dumb. She always finds the dumbest things to "identify" with.
Her YouTube channel has also given her enough money to buy enough food to become excessively, uncontrollably fat.
That's like handing a raging crack addict a massive wad of cash every month and then watching them (predictably) go buy lots and lots of crack with it.
Nobody is doubting she has it made, but her channel is also fueling her destruction by allowing her to avoid anything that would hinder her ability to eat, lay around, and get progressively fatter.

I think she and Chantal are the same height. We know Chantal's long list of serious health problems; I wonder how Amber's real health stacks up?
Chantal is 36 to Amber's 30, but Chantal was also at least 80 lbs smaller than she is now until she piled on weight in the last 18 months or so. Amber's been in the mid-500s and flirting with 600 for years.

The screen ring light in her videos are driving me crazy. Her glasses reflect the light back into the camera. I haven't watched her enough to know what prescription she has for glasses but jesus! How thick are they? They look real thick. Is that a side affect from her weight?

They're just blue light glasses. They might help eyestrain when she's looking at a computer screen but sadly they won't do anything about making her see reality any clearer.
