Honestly, it just does. I remember hearing or reading about this from some other deathfat who wasn't a lolcow. It was too long ago for me to remember the details but the explanation made sense. I know that's not helpful at all, but my point is that ALR isn't the first deathfat to claim this.

Any pants you wear at that size are going to be elastic in the waist so even after losing a lot of weight they should still fit for some time. Same with the tops, many of them have a lot of stretch and will go from being tight tops to being the dresses they were inteded to be.

Additionally, we can see that a lot of what Hamber has purchased is too small for her now. So in that sense, she can wear the clothes once she loses weight. Hypothetically. She's not actually going to lose the weight.

She claimed Krystle's parents gave her 1200 each month for allowance, plus the 280 plus she was allotted in food stamps each month, which she put out a video about being so proud of applying for so she could do her part.
 
If Amber can squeeze her giant sized arms into a cardigan she considers it a good fit. Never mind that it takes all of the garments material just to cover her back and sides. There is none of the cardigan showing from the front except her arms.
But Amber likes it that way because then she can show off her floral grandma tops/dresses underneath. Especially the ones with chest pieces.

Regarding weight loss and antidepressants. Its 100% possible.
Besides that it possibly stimulates the part of your brain that is responsible for appetite, there are some pro-weight loss factors connected to antidepressants.
You will be more active once they kick in, thus you can burn more calories. But we know how glad she is to blame her weight gain on everything but herself.
 
Lexapro is considereda weight neutral antidepressant but I'm not surprised that people have gained weight on it, especially the people reaching out to Amberlynn as they are likely fellow fatasses.

The problem with antidepressants making you more active is that is that with someone like Hamber, her idea of being "active" is

1. Going out to a restaurant where she will sit up straight for 40 minutes in order to stuff her face with 6,000 calories.

or

2. Going out to walmart where she can scoot around for an hour, buy a bunch of useless junk and pick up two different fast food meals on the way home.

She isn't interested in doing anything else. If she would instead use that increased energy to walk her dog or even to do those chair workouts for elderly people, she'd not oly lose weight she would feel better about herself, it would be like a positive snowball effect.

If she thinks that her meds make her gain weight, why the f is she just dropping her lexapro and not seeing if I don’t know, one of the hundreds of others might help?! Doctors say that binge eating disorder is linked to depression and anxiety- duh- but they, and researchers suggest that flipping therapy is the best choice. Zoloft and Prozac are often a suggested prescription, BUT There are hundreds of other options to try (in conjunction with an antidepressant)! If she wants to lose weight why doesn’t she take getting a propped psychoatrist and therapist that can keep trying new combos until something works?! Topomax could be something to help, or naltrexone which is widely used to stop cravings- drugs, alcohol and any cravings. There is drug on the market called Contrate that is Wellbutrin ans Naltrxone that is specifically marketed to help fatties lose weight! I don’t know much about campral, but it helps with restlessness and anxiety for people attempting to get off of alcohol. I am not a psychiatrist, but this is what I found from 2 seconds of searching the net. She is always on her phone/internet. I KNOW she likely would benefit from a handful of psych meds as she tries to break the cycle that she is in, but she is just to fucking lazy. She has only done a minimum effort to stop people from bugging her to go to her first appointments in decades, but even then she half asses it. She did it for a few months and decided that it was making her worse. AL if the first doesn’t work, keep going- with a psychiatrist who specializes in addictions and or eating disorders!!! Guess what?! They can also give you something like trazadone to help you sleep, which will also help anxiety and depression which leads to- OVER EATING! But don’t anyone suggest any of this. She just cherry picks from inspiration on Instagram. Wake up AL, they probably only talk about diet and exercise, but spoiler alert! They are successful because they have a great therapist, and have meds that help there mental problems!!! That is their secret to success! They just don’t talk about. The other secret is that they are willing to go to any length to get it. She isn’t willing to even walk from a parking space to her store scooter. I think why I am amped is because it’s just so beyond frustrating! I think her vocab is limited, but she isn’t dumb. She could have at least SOME results if she tried! Very good point! The positive effect of drugs will outweigh (haha) the bad effects. In her case, its so clearly psychological that she can only profit off of it!
Also, you are right, especially about contrate. I could write so much more about the meds you listed and except campral all could help her. But too much powerlevel.

She said she was a steady 470 pounds for years. But she was 497 at the beginning of this year. Whatever- her weight was still in the 400s and she wasn't on antidepressants then. She wasn't a dainty 199 pounds and then all of a sudden lexapro ballooned her to 555 pounds. What got her to 500 pounds?

Becky. Before her was Destiny who had a real job and couldn't be home daily to taxi big AL on a whim to four different fast food eateries for lunch. Destiny tried keeping Amber active, they had jobs together and lived some zombie semblance if adult life.Destiny leaving was Amber's invitation to give up, finding a willing enabler put the final nail in the coffin.

I'm not saying it's Becky's fault Amber is pushing 600 pounds, but she had a harder time packing on more weight than what she had.

I feel like she’d not only be a parasite, she’d be a foster mother, but as much as I would like to believe she’d be the “foster parent” she never had, she’s scammed and stolen and sucked people who she’s barely known practically dry for so long that I feel like she’d be a shitty foster parent who hoards kids for the cash. She’d be able to keep the money, spend little bits at the dollar store to film a video for YouTube called something like “2,000 presents for little Billy!” And tell her sad story, how she was abandoned and got nothing growing up and how she’s so happy to support little Billy and give him the life she never had... she’s never going to be able to focus on anything besides her own wants and needs, if she cared about other people she wouldn’t have put so many people in the positions they were in with her for so long, so I don’t think she should ever ever ever have children or adopt, she’d fuck them up so badly.

I mean this girl has some balls. I honestly can’t imagine having the confidence to move into my sped girlfriend’s parent’s house and accept their money, especially for as long as she did, and she has done this with every single relationship. It has never been a beneficial relationship where two people are both mutually growing as people and prospering, in each of her relationships, someone is being taken advantage of in some sort of way.

This bitch should stay the fuck away from children....
