I am honestly surprised that Amberlynn hasn't had a full blown weed arc. She's not below haggling with a doctor to get a medical marijuana card if it means legal weed in O.K. But we also know she isn't below shitty gas station carts if she can get her grubby hands on one. She could binge and blame it on the munchies then rant and rave about the medical benefits to keep getting blitzed. She'd be able to justify going full on suicide bomber and eat 'till she pops. Amber admitted a few years back that she loves the ER because you get immediate test results unlike a pcp sometimes you have to wait a day or 2.
Also whenever Amber goes to the ER, she ALWAYS goes 2 days in a row because the first day wasn’t satisfactory enough for her. And we get these disclaimer stories of why she has to go back that most likely aren’t true.
Ambers timeline for herself is wild. Shes still going a fragment of a baby step in her 30s for any little thing but if she wants a glp1 or anything doctor related that shits gotta be done asap.
I think Amber asked her mom to lie with her about subscribers in Dennys. The more I see of Kristine the more she seems super naive but also a liar like her daughter.I like how she approached them like a famous hero as they watched her Tik tok like “yeah that’s me”
I think amber got the "its ok if you lie to protect others" shit early on cause mommalynn wanted ambers goofy ass to shut the fuck up that her parents are meth heads and neglect their kids. Amber's the kind of person to divulge anything as long as it keeps people paying attention to her so I 100% think mom is ok with lying as long as she's protecting amber from the haydurs.
Cause in the ER the doctors and nurses apply medicines via IV, or watch you take them while offering you water or w/e, and she gets to be fussed over like a child because they think she's going to drop dead.
Plus they'll be asking her all the health related questions and she won't miss a chance to talk about her health issues and try to turn it into a trauma dumping session. "I'm having chest pain, it's 10/10 on the pain scale, btw did you know I got molested?"
If she acts like a grown up and takes her own medicines, she gets treated like a grown up and isn't praised for the most basic shit.
Oh yeah one of ambers biggest fears is becoming a person. An adult. A whole human with responsibility and everything. Without the childhood trauma, her health scares and everything she doesnt have anything. No personality, nothing to do. Nothing to look forward to. The day amber is treated like a run of the mill adult is where the real true crashout will begin. She always gave me pixy Teri vibes. Like amber also thinks shes only just begun to shine.
Pixies freak outs are reminding me of an aging amberlynn going to mental illness to mental illness trying to maintain some of that super special feel bad for me shit.
