I never understood why my father loved this movie so much. Adolph Hitler was more fond of the jews than my father. He watched every WW2/Hitler documentary/movie speech so many times I used to give him shit about it. (Catching Dad once again watching Triumph of the Will I would ask) "Do they have a good enough team to make it the playoffs this year?"

It's because the story is about the way things were.

People live their whole lives in an aquarium bound by time. Everything they know is bound by it - their dreams and hatreds, what they care about, what they understand to be normal and true. Then it evaporates. Everything is replaced by a new bubble, filled with an entirely new generation of youngsters struggling with a different batch of arbitrary nonsense. So the old cling to shattered fragments of the past.
 
I believe everyone has a soul but I also think most people who are too low IQ to recognize their own sentience unfortunately forfeit that spark of life.
When I look into the eyes of your average Somalian or Indian I see no light of the divine behind them. It's almost like they make a deal at some point to be able to do the most heinous shit imaginable without fear of repercussions in exchange for it. Then without it there's no moral compass or common sense they just devolve into animals.
 
Don't elevate them. They are just retarded and we are going though a phase globally where we don't suppress retards from holding back and crashing productive society.
