a shitpost feature

AI-enhanced search would be very cool. Take all posts that are highlighted/featured/above a certain react score (tweak filter based on compute limits), and feed them into a lightweight-ish model (idk how people do this nowadays, last time I checked RAG was the big thing). Then give registered users some quota of smart searches where you can just ask it things like "Hey what was that thread where the guy rigged a bunch of speakers to play classical music to get the homeless latinos away from his office?" Could be a pretty good signup incentive for lurkers. You could also do this for the thread title field so it can more accurately say "there's already a thread for this, bro".

Another cool thing would be keeping an eye on every thread's live content/post frequency/average react score to generate a side-wide list of thread "happenings". Similar to the community happenings thread, but an automatic and real-time list of threads where something big or unusual is going down compared to normal activity levels.
Ok, forget my last idea, I want a news anchor ai that keeps of all the dumb bullshit that happens on this site that's noteworthy and runs its own little news channel every day
Once a week not good enough?

Hamster racing game called HAMDRIFT that dictates the heirachy of kiwifarms

Virtual cigarette you can smoke while slapfighting with others so when youre stressed it makes the site more bearable but then you get addicted and things get horrifying if you dont smoke HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Card games/games the chats can play would honestly be amazing and id actually go there to have fun and talk for once if this was a feature. At least add uno or something it would be great.

A rat that walks around my page and just lives there now (spend 5 dollars on this so it looks like a crusty jpeg)

Have a extra subforum that every so often a new thread is made where it has ideas of lolcow what ifs.

After listening to the podcast and somewhat understanding the API vs code distinction, I have an idea: an automatic detection for post reactions, whereby a user who receives a sufficient amount of positive reactions to their posts is automatically rewarded with a trinket of some sort on their user profile.

-Is this retarded? Yes

-Wouldn't it just be digital key jingling? Yes

-Is this in any way productive or beneficial for the forum? Actually, yes. Like it or not, regardless of it being illogical, people like their gold stars and updoots. It gives them dopamine. Therefore, positive reinforcement of good quality posts would logically lead to more site engagement.

-Isn't this the same as a post being auto-highlighted? No; that's thread specific and only serves to draw people to quality posts when looking through a thread.

My recommendation would be kiwi badges (inspired by deviantart's llama badges), automatically issued by the API. Yes, it's stupid. It's also fun and rewards users who are positive contributors.

This is a USIPS thing. Kevin Crawley did some work into something that could import ghostarchive/preservetube/archivetoday/archiveorg pages into a unified USIPS repository. I think he did actually save terabytes of data this way aeons ago.
Agent based mapping of lolcow-to-lolcow interactions: Eg; Ralphamale has the "WHY WONT YOU DIE MEDICAID" with Metokur, and "No my name's not Ethan Ralph" with a supported of Aaron (Steel Toe) mogging him, and cog being his failed alog, etc. Use it as a graph to mark the intensity (at points of time), frequency, and duration of these contacts (bi-directional)

Automated dare checking. eg @Fatpacks and @Hollywood Hulk Hogan burger suits for loosing, but funnier.
RAG based cosine similarity of grouping for lolcows and the aligner discussion as a subforum tool or suggestion tool.

More script like:
Automatic dead link notification and (proposed) new links after web searching.
Automatic "most recent updates" on small OPs with a thread summary.
Automated based pink triangle issuance :woo:
Occasional video check (was this video uploaded to youtube by X lolcow deleted, modified, cut, restricted?)

RAG and agent based retard triangle alert sound depending on chat direction.

Bonus:
LLM in the voice of X lolcow here. random choice of the day. Make it Mamba based for less context used and use RAG profiles of lolcows. Eg; Tell me self defense laws in New York.
"NIGGA AINT GOT FOR YOU. SUFFER RETARD. HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL BISSH!?" :gator:
"NO GUNS ALERT, NO GUNS ALERT, YOU CANT AIM AIM AIM"
etc.

Maybe something that looks at your post history/thread view history and then recommends you a group of cows that it thinks you might be interested in based on that. Think like a steam discovery queue, maybe each entry could contain cow highlights. Maybe like a little null dog that 'digs up' new lolcows for you to discover.

On the second thought here is a set of ideas I have in the paradigm of AI being a helpful tool:
  1. Automated creation of OP grid i.e. you give it some barebones unsorted information and it creates a text timeline inside which you can add whatever. Can be useful since there is a lot of users who want to create threads, but "reasons". It is going to look like shit, but still.
  2. Thread suggestion based on your last X threads watched. I know, we had recommendation function and I actually miss it.
  3. Page summaries. REALLY NEED IT NOW NOW NOW since navigating LimpDick Tom's thread when it basically turned into a sea of spastic retards was a nightmare and highlight function didn't help at all - they just upvoted the most vapid and unfunny shit, so if AI could find one informative post among 100 of shitfling that would be great. Or at least inform users "nothing to see here, go forward" or "@afafadf has a long post with pics and links about Tom fucking dogs" or whatever.
  4. Not really AI based, but what about Petite KF aka the least watched threads? Many of cows go ignored just because their threads are buried under the usual suspects and not everyone wants to dig so deep. Fuck, we've got the same "COWS U FELL BED FOR" thread every 6 months since using a search bar seems to be an impossible task.
  5. Em, automated image generation from the last page or pages?
  6. KF dating app No, God, please, no.

Have an AI list all the different times Patrick S Tomlinson contradicted himself on Twitter

Okay for real:

Can you use it to automate a process where a new user using certain terms is automatically muted until reviewed? That would remove the potential for people joining the forums just to post a threat, faildox, personal army thread or swat/actual crime right?

I may be dumb and this is already being done

With all the news of game modding going on i would love to see - agent that creates a game mod [say gta v, resident evil 2, anything really] incorporating the story of cows. Depending on thread length can give it page length or if the cow is well documented can draw from all the sources available here. Token wise I dont think it would be too heavy you could aim the game to a character that looks similar.

Hell, maybe ill see what claude can get up to if this isnt selected.

A tool along the lines of this that Lishi makes that uses the RN and another that uses the LN keyway to help you pick and decode locks. The chinks are too retarded to realize that making the tool with those keyways as the base allows you to pick 80% of the shit you come into contact with. I’m in an old building though, so I’ve seen H keyways too for newer LFICs so I’m probably wrong. I just hate the Chinks, alot.
