If you're looking for legitimate things to extend the site: an automated tweet/telegram/youtube/whatever collector. Too many lolcows delete shit 5 minutes after the tweet and if a user wasn't around to literally screen shot it the thing is gone forever. Let users of the site handle adding lolcow info by only allowing people who meet a arbitrary amount of time and activity on the site, also i'd probably set it so users had to have a cookie to even view the service as well . First the personality gets an entry then the various services appended to it and resource manage the service by allowing people on KF without a sub to only add like 1 or 3 people and subs like 25. If the user/lolcow doesn't have activity after a certain amount of time it auto-culls out of the service. Go a step further and make a hook on Xenforo so you can just embed on the site an archived tweet or whatever from the service. It should be relatively easy to slam together with the $200 credits, Nitter/Teapot's codebase is well understood by AI and Telegram's API are open source, youtube could be handled by yt-dlp. The only real gotcha would be sourcing a decent amount of Twitter accounts to handle the workload. Frankly archiving has become less common by the users here and maybe lowering the threshold a bit to doing the job may induce more people to participate.
 
I think the page summary idea you posed on stream is a good choice, possibly you could use it to community note certain posters that are total faggots when a thread gets featured? I know thread tourists often don’t have the ability to pick up on disingenuous SAAR niggers, so that could be neat.
 
Can it read through threads, separate the different "epochs" (like Rekietas different arcs) and make tabs or something that you can flip through to quickly look at the different eras of a lolcows thread?

I second this but unironically. Get the AI to scan people's posts and find matches for singles with similar interests in lolcows and other things!

Bonus idea: it also takes into account the alleged DM gooner threads that may or may not exist. Foids should appreciate that too, since it would mean the AI bot could exclude moids that are too fargooned from being matched with them.
 
One at a time, start banning actual users and replacing them with a vibe-written mechanical user and see how long it takes for anyone to notice.

Regarding the search by text prompt mentioned earlier in the thread. I'm imagining something that is a little more advanced than a normal search.

Examples:

I'm in TheQuarterings thread:
Show me the post from when Hambley first told his pant shitting story

And it would not just show me every instance of a post talking about Jer shitting his pants, but the original post or the initial archive.

I'm in Bossmanjack's thread:
Show me all videos in the thread where he said "get it twisted", listed chronologically ascending.

And it would show me the first video where he said that (and then the others.)

The AI could also gather posts talking about the subject and list those, or make a summary (with links).
 
You know what might be useful is a bot that checks Mastodon for mentions of the forum and uses the context and traffic volume to predict the next faggotry. It would still be useful if it didn't know what was coming, just that something is and of what magnitude. You wouldn't necessarily even want to share it's findings with the community, just keep it as your own personal canary.
