Postal III. The developers claim that it was such a disaster because they had to outsource it to some Russian company, and that company ended up fucking everything up. I've never played it myself, but I've seen gameplay footage of it, and it looks like it has POTENTIAL to be a lot of fun. Give Running With Scissors more money, get Rick Hunter back to voice Postal Dude, and rework the gameplay to be more like Postal 2. You'd have a proper sequel then.

I have a feeling this has been said but Legend of the Dragoon would be a nice remake for the PS4.

RWS released the Paradise Lost dlc to kind of make up for the shit show that was 3 didn't they? They brought in Rick Hunter as the original Postal dude and they had an alternate Postal dude with Zack Ward from 3. The DLC's on sale for like a dollar I'd recommend picking it up if you haven't.

Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts, but as a new IP instead of the "sequel" it is.

As it is, it's probably one of the worst video game sequels of the last generation because it barely has anything to do with the B-K series outside of some superficial shit. If you ignore that it's supposed to be a sequel, you will find a fun (if somewhat flawed) and creative game that could have been a decent start to a unique series. The game has tons of baggage because of it being the long awaited sequel to Banjo-Tooie, which really pissed a lot of people off and gave it the reputation it has today.

Had Rare not used the Banjo-Kazooie series as a crutch, the game could've been more fondly remembered, and maybe they wouldn't have gotten as fucked up as they did after the game came out.

...remake zoo tycoon, but make it better than this shit

I wouldn't want it to happen in this current climate, but Suikoden 1 and 2 really deserve a better localization and execution. Even the Japan only PSP collection introduced new bugs while fixing others.

I think the Valkyrie Profile series could do with coming back to life.

The original two Metal Gears. The whole series would come full circle and getting to actually fight Big Boss in HD would be one hell of an ending.

I'll probably get some flack for this, but I say Mass Effect Andromeda.

Given how much of a clusterfuck the development was (even the initial concept was so stupidly ambitious that it ate up most of the development time and resources), I'm honestly impressed that the game turned out as well as it did. I think that if the developers had made the game that entailed the final product from the very beginning, it would've been a more polished and cohesive experience.

I know technically Hitman: Codename 47 was remade as Hitman Contracts, but enough liberties were taken that I would much prefer a true to original remake with the Hitman engine they're currently using.

Weeell, there's a game that has been with me since I got it as a wee lad back in the age of Morrowind and Gothic. Arx Fatalis
An ego-perspective rpg, which takes place in a fantasy world. Actually, beneath said fantasy world. See, an ice age broke out and no one could stop it, so the human king got every race together, said "I think we could survive if we dig real deep. Like REALLY deep." The rest of the races went "GENIUS" and started digging together in the name of survival. A few years later, everyone is beneath earth, EVERYONE, no one was left on the surface due to time-constraint, no siree, no one at all.

People start killing each other for the bests spots, kingdoms start forming, some messengers become an order of badasses because they travel the surface to deliever their news.

AND THEN YOU CAME ALONG! Your MC gets wizzarded, captured by goblins and you then take control.

I enjoyed it for it's interestening solution-seeking and the way you can interact with the world, such as tossing technically edible stuff into a fire to make it actually edible.
Also the magic system is interestening in that you can store up to three spells ready to fire by forming the necessary runes. Using magic in combat is not that good an idea, so storing is the way to go. The game is also pretty open once you get past the prison.

I'd like to see a remake of the PS2's Robot Alchemic Drive which can best be described as a "giant robot vs Kaiju simulator". You have to frequently switch control between the mech and the human controller (who is on foot and acts as the stationary camera when you're punching monsters) . To walk , you alternated pressing left and right shoulder buttons at a steady pace, the arms were controlled with the thumbsticks, etc

It's not that old but Persona 3 has aged terribly both mechanically and graphically so it could use an HD remake. I'm not sure it could be done anymore though with the evokers since people are such hysterical crybabies now.

NEVER EVER

Also I would like to see Freedom Fighters.

As for stuff already mentioned, Warcraft 3 remake, MGS 3, Morrowind Remake, the original Fallout 3 by Trokia games, etc.

Since Microsoft has answer the calls for more Age of Empires games, I'd like to see them continue on that path and make a new Rise of Nations game.

I am worried AoE 4 becomes MOBA shit or something like Dawn of War 3. When its not even a real RTS.
