I would love more of the Ogre Battle Saga because there's a lot of unfinished business. Probably won't happen soon for a bunch of reasons.
Zero Time Dilemma needs to be the proper sequel to Zero Escape as it was meant to be because it's very obvious that it's not the same game Uchikoshi had it mind.
More Wild Arms would be nice.
HD port of Valkyria Chronicles 2 and 3 would be good too since 4 got announced.

A new Shadow Hearts game which is closer in tone to the first two instead of whatever the fuck the third one was.
FYI, the director has recently said in 2015 that the third game was more of a spinoff and he wanted to make an official sequel starring Yuri again.

I simultaneously want and dread a remaster of Vagrant Story. Keep the gameplay, update the music (don't remix it!), but give the graphics a much-needed improvement and add voice acting. There. That would make me very happy.
Of course, knowing how much Square enjoys mutilating old favorites--why, hello, Parasite Eve franchise!--if they ever touch Vagrant Story again, they're going to make it fifty shades of terrible.*sigh*
VS could really benefit from updated gameplay now that camera controls with analog sticks have been a thing for the past 20 years.

I'd like to see an old RTS called Dark Reign remade - loved that game, the lore was great. Sequels were pants though

My first thought was a new Rogue Squadron or a Jedi Knight game. But since EA has exclusive rights to Star Wars now I'd prefer they stay buried.

I would definitely love a current gen remaster of the original Myst game

Karnov. I would have the remake be based off of the NES version, with updated graphics, and smoother scrolling, along with some more music.

Black & White. I miss terrorizing villagers with my evil pet and sending it off to beat up the pets of competing deities; plus the AI in that game was incredible. I'd love to see it with a fresh coat of paint and today's programming power implemented.

Same with Creatures. That game blew me away. I poured all my attention into raising my norn to adulthood and coaxed it through the world, collecting items, meeting ettins and splicing them with grendels to create short-lived abominations.

I think the people behind the games are trying to reboot it, but it's been a very slow incline.

Might sound stupid but it'd be really neat if they remade the petz games (1-5 on the pc, not the stupid ones on the wii and ds) and added more support for mods and shit. I mostly want this because nostalgia, it would never sell well sadly.

Alpha Protocol was an Obsidian gem spoiled by bad QA and a shitty publisher that was also immediately buried by New Vegas's impending release. It needed more polish and it showed, but you could see the unfinished ideas at work. It was a solid Bourne-style spy thriller with a lot of a surprising amount of choices and I was disappointed that they were denied a second crack at making it work because good action RPGs outside the fantasy/sci-fi genres are hard as fuck to come by.

I played all three, and the third game was good on its own, not to mention ridiculously hilarious, but I agree the tone felt so divorced from the first two, which, while having a fair amount of funny, tried to maintain a great amount of seriousness and focus on an overarching plotline, and without Yuri, it just felt so disconnected from the greater franchise.

Not to mention the overarching plot of the the game felt like a Final Fantasy knockoff in execution, though having who was basically Iori Yagami as a JRPG character as an antagonist was a neat idea.

As for games that need dusting off, I'd like to see a modernized version of Castle of the Winds, which was my roguelike fix for quite a bit of my childhood.

I'd love to see:

  • Remasters of the earlier Hitman games, with attention paid to updating the user interface and maybe making the AI in Silent Assassin less jumpy. The levels should remain unchanged, I just want to the gameplay made a bit more friendly with modern PC controls.
  • A remaster of the first F.E.A.R, largely to make the game compatible with newer versions of Windows without modification.
  • A proper standalone version of Trouble In Terrorist Town, with some modifications. I'm nostalgic for a bunch of odd things from my childhood/adolescence, and I loved TTT back when it launched. Revisiting it now, I can see that it has some pretty major issues, chief among them being the possibility that you die early on in a round and are stuck doing nothing for 7+ minutes on end. If someone was to take the base gameplay, port it to another engine, and fix the severe problems that the game has currently, I'd happily buy it.

Alan Wake, it was such a comfy game to play and the 2 DLCs didn't really resolve it properly.

Wizardry 8:
-Give it shit like custom portraits (and more portraits)
-Custom voices (and more voices)
-More side quest and enemies
-And since it's banking on the Wizardry name, it really could of done well in referencing past games beyond 6 like make a mention of a Mad Overlord who sought an amulet or his wizard nemesis that actually managed to attain enlightenment that places him above good and evil.
A new Vampire: The Masquerade first person RPG would be rad.

Like Bloodlines took a premise of dorky vampire larp stuff and actually made a really deep and complex fallout type game but in modern day. A new one would probably get way more mainstream appeal if it was good.
VTMB given a second chance would really be nice. Beyond not having to use patches to play it on modern computers, it'd be nice for it to have a face lift that gives it new life while retaining what made it good. It would also be good enough to avoid the modding drama it had back then when some guy threw an autistic bitch fit because his unofficial patch was being listed as a mod.

I know that everyone always says this is completely un-needed because of how visually and especially musically freaking amazing the game already is, but come on, even I can admit that the actual gameplay of Super Metroid needed some serious work...and yes, that also includes the controls as well. Whether Nintendo or the Another Metroid 2 Remake developer will do it first is uncertain, however. Also, Metroid: Super Zero Mission, Super Metroid Eris, Super Metroid Redesign and Super Metroid Phazon, just to name a few Super Metroid hacks that really desperately need to be remade and revised into their own official games. Preferably with the bosses being redesigned into something new and not just thinly disguised recolors, at that. Nintendo, please understand.

Also, I would practically kill to see Wario Land 3 remastered into the Wario Land 4 style.

Not to mention actually good remasterings of Parappa The Rapper and Um Jammer Lammy...

Xenogears simply needs to have Disc 2 be properly fleshed out gameplay-wise, but Earthbound Zero (MOTHER 1) is a game that simply needs to be reworked from the ground up entirely.

For Undertale, make it so that the enemies and bosses (not counting Undyne and Sans) actually adapt to how insanely powerful Frisk becomes during Neutral and Genocide runs. Also, please, for fuck's ever-loving sake, add Hard Mode into the game; we've been waiting far too long now.

As for Chrono Trigger, please at least make it so that the experience levels of the enemies and bosses actually scale up properly to those of your characters during New Game Plus. Even if you literally do not add anything else to the game, I will still be perfectly fine and happy with it.

Also, seriously Sony, where the hell is our ridiculously long-awaited Director's Cut of Crash Twinsanity? I really, really need to have that Gone A Bit Coco level from the beta added into the game, simply so that I can masturbate to the mental image of being deep inside the head portion of an anthropomorphic teenage bandicoot's central nervous system; I may be crazy, don't mind me

There was supposed to be an Alan Wake 2 planned on the 360 years ago. Would be been nice to see that happen, because the first was one of the best games on that system.

Emerald Dragon - the battle were fun.
Evil zone with a online or a modern campaign mode
Legend of Legaia
Tomba with a crash's remaster.

Evil Zone had a story mode. Granted it was cheesy and overall terrible but it still had a little bit of charm.
