7/23/2016 DNC Email Leaks - Confirming what we already knew

20,000 emails were leaked from the Democratic National Committee.
The emails show that the DNC has been shilling for Hillary from the very start, including collusion between several media outlets (what a fucking surprise).
The current DNC chair is refusing to speak at the national convention after this.
Twitter has reportedly made attempts to censure the #DNCLeaks hashtag.
I thought this was a big enough thing to make a separate thread on, merge this with the general politic thread if it's not enough.

At this point, the only way I can see the media turning on her is if her secret lover was Bin Laden and she co-planned and financed 9/11 herself. Because it seems like she is fairly immune to direct criticism.

I don't understand that rationalization. Clinton was fired from her job as Lawyer during the Nixon debacle due to unethical conduct, there was the Benghazi affair, the Email server affair, amongst smaller "mis-steps". Snowden is wanted for Treason for similar acts as these. Trump is a Chauvanist who ran Beauty Pageants and was mean to people on The Apprentice.

She's stood in front of a congressional hearing for 11 hours straight over the Benghazi incident and only made the Republicans look unhinged and obsessed, they've accused her of murdering interns, and of stealing White House china.

People have "scandal-fatigue" and at this point anything else is going to look like more of the same from the past 30 years.

Trump on the other hand is ratings gold, he's unhinged and knows literally nothing about what he's talking about and relies heavily on audience feedback for his policy "ideas" and constantly has meltdowns and gaffes on Twitter.

I'm not sure it addresses the question, are you saying people are voting for Hillary just because people don't read about scandals anymore, and Trumps media coverage is just bite sized fuck ups, which is easier to take in? :/

I'm saying that Trump looks far more incompetent and sleazy than Clinton and that's saying something. The vast majority of the public views Trump as a blowhard who goes into a tard-rage when people hurt his fee-fees (the Khan debacle for example would've never happened with Romney or McCain) while Hillary is seen as "she sucks pretty bad but at least she's not Trump!"

I mean shit, I think Trump is going to be the first GOP nominee to get a stunning ZERO percent of the African American vote, which even Romney managed to get a paltry 8%.

It basically comes down to picking the crazy woman who manipulates everyone and gets away with everything, or the crazy man who says what he wants without a filter and doesn't get away with anything.

Regardless, Trump just pretends to be insane and stupid to maintain an icy cold grip on the media while Hillary hardly even knows what a meme is.
