7/23/2016 DNC Email Leaks - Confirming what we already knew

20,000 emails were leaked from the Democratic National Committee.
The emails show that the DNC has been shilling for Hillary from the very start, including collusion between several media outlets (what a fucking surprise).
The current DNC chair is refusing to speak at the national convention after this.
Twitter has reportedly made attempts to censure the #DNCLeaks hashtag.
I thought this was a big enough thing to make a separate thread on, merge this with the general politic thread if it's not enough.

but seriously, though, fuck hillary. i don't even like trump. but i'd rather vote for a third party that is basically a vote sink in favor of trump than vote for fucking hillary.
 
I guess this comes to the surprise of precisely noone, but it's interesting to see it confirmed.
The sad bit is, this should make a lot of people very mad, seeing how they are pretty much cowed into voting for Hillary, but nope. They'll handwave it away, claiming Hillary is the best candidate anyway (despite all the shit that's going on around her campaign) and happily disregard this.
 
Nothing particularly surprising but it's still a very good thing that this is public. The more people who get educated about what a bullshit rigged game politics are the better.
 
It's pretty shitty all around. I'm disappointed but not terribly surprised that Sanders being Jewish was going to be brought up by the Hillary people.
 
Man remember an election or two ago when Fox got caught with it's pants down, and the leftwing was saying THEIR news sources would never do such a thing?

Can't wait for this exact argument to happen again with the debaters reversed.

Hilary's camp is already blaming Trump and a vast right-wing Russian conspiracy behind the emails

As if that will help obfuscate what's in those emails in the first place :story:

And this woman wants to be president.
 
This is unsurprising, and yet still somehow caught me off guard. I just didn't think I would see such a release anytime soon. This is usually the sort of thing that drops years after an election when no one cares anymore.
