Oh look, it's the same cycle as the last time.
>down for maintenance
>goes back up
>captcha server dead
>(You) are here
>captchas take a minute to load
>whatever the fuck is going on with their infrastructure finally gets resolved and it's business as usual

It's a fucking testament that for over a decade of moot leaving things as-is and hiro letting RapeApe do whatever the fuck to the infrastructure, the site's still up and running.

>decide to reply to some retarded bait
>write paragraph full of love and effort.
>go to post
>erm please wait for 20 minutes (or give us your SSN)
>wait
>fuck up the captcha in my sleepy haze
>do it again
>ip range banned
Fuck you praljeet.

this is beyond pathetic :sighduck:
>the site is a-a-anonymous saar
>p-pls verify your email before posting

Yet, it does not stop the spam or goon posts in non-nsfw boards. Do people seriously pay for 4chan pass to do just that?
yep, especially if they are from the blacklisted countries where you are forced to get more captchas when you try to post as it was leaked in the sharty hack.

/tv/ has been entirely unmoderated for weeks if not months. It's literally SFW /b/ now (and sometimes not even sfw). Off-topic threads flooding the catalog, relentless spam, and tranny jannies don't care, the threads go directly to archive but never get deleted. Remember, any time someone tells you the site was ruined by anyone other than tranny jannies and rapeape, just slap them.

I don't mind since these dumb motherfuckers are easy to scam and make money off of. If you're just going to despair over what was lost you're going to be miserable, all these newbies that don't know better are a golden opportunity and that's the silver lining here. Old internet isn't coming back and nu-internet sucks, nothing more to it, but nothing lasts forever, plenty of online games I would like to play again or IRL events I would want to attend again or communities I would like to reconcile with. I can't have them back, so I just appreciate what is still there, and enjoy knowing how much better I have it than these dumbfucks now who willingly dox themselves and then get surprised when some petty psycho ruins their life.
I don't give a shit, I have no stake in the internet, my life is offline, my hobbies are offline, they could pull the plug tomorrow and my life would go on. It's just insane to know I'm the last pre-smartphone generation, a watershed like the last pre-electricity generation and the 'good' phase of the internet was so brief that I lived through the entirety of it and I'm not even 40. The culture of the internet was so bright and optimistic and decentralized, full of good shit and good communities that its impossible to properly convey to irony poisoned zoomers, its like I'm talking about a different geological era to them. They simply cannot comprehend that things don't necessarily have to be bad, that things used to be good, that you could make different choices and not go along with the megacorp algorithms and trying to turn every online interaction into a grift.
EDIT: I just searched it up and it's actually not a nophono its some guy who hosts a service that people use to post cp on 4chan but still he types like you
This is what terminally online NEETs with nothing to do occupy themselves. Their dopamine receptors are fried, no vidya, movies, anime or binging anything brings satisfaction anymore, nothing is able to hold away the roaring emptiness off their lives, so they fill out with this kind of shit, the desperate need of meaning, the desperate need of goals, of victory at something, anything.

Fuck zoomers, they don't know anything. They don't deserve to have a good time on the internet, and they certainly don't deserve to have a bright future with their kind of attitude. I stopped caring about them long ago, it's clear they are going to be one of the worst recent generations so why bother getting upset over them? Screw them over instead, they also happen to be one of the most naive generations in recent years so it's easy. That's how the generation that fought in WW2 must have felt about baby boomers.

As a zoomer with zoomer friends, we are able to recognize that the internet was different back in a day. I may hold no recollection of being active on forums, but I do remember in my formative years growing up with flash games, when miniclip wasn't just 8ball and free mobile games weren't nearly as obnoxious with ads. I also vaguely remember how Newgrounds animations flooded youtube and people were able to get away with uploading way more heinous shit like Cupcakes HD or Happy Tree Friends. I even remember when Iddubbz wasn't a wimp and Joji was Filthy Frank.

I also remember when 4chan used to be quite interesting and captivating. Even if you did not use it, you heard about the batshit insane things it did like the whole "he will not divide us" thing, that really showed how the site's userbase had legit geniuses that were able to determine the location of a flag based of nothing but airplane trails and star constellations. Not for money, not for fame, but all for the sake of trolling. Back when trolling wasn't done for the sake of grifting, or using AI to make outrageous videos to advertise your shitcoin, but for lols.

All zoomers that were regularly using the internet during their childhoods remember all of this. We are not the target you're looking for. All these intergenerational spats "zoomer this, millennial that, gen alpha why, boomers how" is all pushed by people from above holding all the real power, who don't want to take accountability. Instead of admitting that they made a mistake, they'll blame a specific generation "Oh, we can't sell houses cheap, because boomers. Oh we can't recruit people to fight our forever sand wars anymore, because zoomers". It's constant excuses and bullshit and we somehow keep falling for it, out of desperation to have any sense of agency, because having enemies with a human face is much more preferable to giant, faceless, Kafkaesque machines. Except we are part of the machine, voluntarily, nobody twists our arms to be here. It may be hard to see, but all the sensible people are tuning out, I think more than half of my friends have stopped using instagram. I have barely any people to send reels to, because they are focused on their careers or would prefer socializing face-to-face like normal people. And I feel obligated to uninstall the app sometimes for months at the time to focus on other more pressing matters.

Basically, for zoomers the internet used to be an escape from real life, but now real life is becoming an escape from all the deranged narcissists and psychopaths who dominate the internet now. Of course you will not find any sensible zoomers online, they're leaving or locking themselves up in private discord servers and chat groups that nobody can access.

The amount of times I have just deleted a post I have started writing because I can't be bothered for it's jeetcha...
I find my effort level for the internet dropping in general though, the choice to make the times when I do want to engage with it a struggle session is only pushing me further offline.
End your message with "Trans Lives Matter" and your IP will be put on a priority que free of captchas.
