Every post is him trying to derail the thread and make sure the actual topic isn't talked about. I don't know a lot about the game but there's replies to him saying 'this is a peak game thread we're not going to play this other game' He then started posting lobbies for a different game called mecha chameleon which looks like prop hunt. No one joined this and he started spamming deltarune erotica. According to the rest of the thread the same guy spams a lot because he has some kind of hate boner for the game, or the idea of /v/ playing games together generally. Anyone who uses /v/ will notice that new games get thread schizos incredibly quickly. Don't think this game is new though. I've seen it before. I'm also not sure the mod meant the actual thread OP, just the singular OP of the deleted 200 posts. The thread survived for a while after the spammer got ack'd.
Because it's still the only place where original, thought provoking post are being posted. No other board/forum section will have them. See it as a mine, most is coal, but in some rare moments, you hit those absolute timeless GEMS. Too bad they are getting rarer and most of those places are flooded by bots, astroturf groups and feds.

You yourself acknowledged that those gems are exceedingly rare. I'd argue that they're so rare that it's absolutely not worth flushing so much of your time down the toilet in the hopes of finding a legitimately funny or insightful post amidst all the dogshit third world and LLM spam. The board has simply never recovered from the 2016 election. The last time there were consistently funny threads was during the Rittenhouse trial. Had a bit of the same vibe the Zimmerman trial threads had in 2013.

Peak game threads are just generals at this point complete with the gay ERP relationships, and were getting deleted on /v/ for a while. To combat this the peakfags took a page out of the uma masamunefag book and would make a peak thread disguised as something else, such as " What are some peak moments in fighting game tournaments" annoying anons that wanted to discuss the OP and getting a load of gays talking about something different. The same thing happened with Deltarune, it got banished to /vg/ except mods completely obliterated Deltarune posters when they tried to disguise their OPs.
